Sam Howell played better against the Eagles than Dak though. We don't have to guess who's better. Dak got shut down despite all the opportunities to score towards the end. The Eagles secondary is trash but so far they've seemed to click and turn it on in big games. Dak, Mahomes, and Tua only averaged 19 ppg vs the Eagles. The best teams come through in the tough games, not the easy ones.

I'm a cowboy fan and it's been great this season they've won eight games lost three so far and stopped most of the teams they played. I don't know if you remember, but the Cowboys took the Eagles to the final play the game and we're really about four inches from beating the Eagles on their own turf. that showed me that they can play with anybody. This is so silly. They beat a 1-9 team last week and a 4-7 team this week and SB talks abound again. I've been a DC fan for years but until they start beating 9-1 teams - beating bad/below average teams means NOTHING.

They talk about the offensive line protecting Dak & all the time he had to throw, but none of that was said about the line protecting Brock Purdy. SAS was raving how the Eagles played a great game and did what great teams do, which was find a way to win the close ones...fast forward two months, and we now know that Washington sucks...so, now, even when beating them 45-10, SAS won't say anything, nor mention the fact that the Eagles barely beat sub .500 teams. They don't analyze, like they are supposed to, and mention how the Eagles have many one score wins this year, including one against Dallas, in their own backyard. One could say that great teams close out games, while another could say that by not stepping on the throats of their opponents, they are taking the risk of losing these games, i.e., Dallas only being eleven yards from victory. Meanwhile, the 49ers weaknesses (besides their cornerbacks) is the right side of their offensive line (especially in pass protection). The Schoonmaker catch should have been called a touchdown according to the NFL rules for a catch. Had that been called properly it's a Cowboys win over the Eagles. Give credit where credit is due. What kills me, is when people bring up about who we have beaten. Like is it the cowboys fault that who they play have bad records? It ain't like they are going against teams that have above 500 records. Sheesh
