I have Lived here since 1982 and raised 3 kids here my grandmother lived here and my grandkids are 5th genereration native. We have seen the best and worst of this town and the worst is still better than anywhere else I have lived from Indoana to Florida Denver and so cal I live above the ABBOT SQUARE and LOVE MY HOMETOWN. ITS THE BEST PLACE TO BE IN AMERICA the locals are AMAZING and so is the landscape and its well taken care of here. THERES JUST NO PLACE LIKE SANTA CRUZ it never dissapoints

The harbor cafe is the BEST place for breakfast, but finding parking can be rough👍🏻
I would visit capitola village and seacliff beach state park with whats left of the cement ship as well.
