Interesting. I've been switching between the FK and EC shape, and I realized that while the ergo shape on EC makes my hand feel more natural and my aim more stable, the FK offered me much easier direction changes, possibly due to its low profile. Maybe this new shape will be the best of both worlds, definitely looking forward to it!
Great job on this one, I have been very excited for your first "sneak peak"! Good to see how much thoughts you put into the details regarding shape, clicks, feet + LOD and especially grip angles. The current market is just all tunnel-visioning low weight (which is still important to some degree obviously), but completely forget about other important aspects. The rebound strength/click improvements is a HUGE one, I have been hoping for something similar for a very long time. People probably don´t realize how important good clicks are since they got nothing to compare with (very few mice with great feeling clicks currently), so I´m sure this will be a very appreciated improvement by many! Not to mention the importance of well thought out shapes.. Once again, great job guys - can´t wait for release!

nine currently we are not planning any different sizes for the NP-01 and, although that is in the realm of possibility, it is quite unlikely that we would release different sizes ahead of releasing different shapes.

That curve for the ring & pinky finger really sold it for me. I have pretty wide & thick hands (21x13), so I've always struggled with my pinky dragging on the mousepad because there was no room for it. So this is really exciting, can't wait for the release!
What is the purpose of the rear flare hugging the thumb? You have restricted range of motion in exchange for minor comfort gains. At the same time, this is a really good shape.
Hi! While there is no BEST mouse for everyone, we feel that this design allows you more range of motion as you are allowed to make micro adjustments more easily. @VAXEE I think that's a very good point in reference to a game like CSGO where horizontal corrections are most important while vertical corrections are much smaller than in other games. As much as I prescribe to Hektik's Grip Type analysis* I think the biggest determinant between shapes is going to be whether the pinky should sit towards the front or the back of the mouse, and this is something that's going to be influenced by the game and someone's sensitivity. We may see mousepads tossed through a similar framework in the near future as people decide between different friction properties. How much cpi/dpi deviation can we expect? I mean if i choose 400 dpi will it really be 400? Cpi /dpi deviation is a big problem for me cause every new mouse feels so different
Hello, based on our testing, should you select 400 DPI, the range will be between 400 to 410 depending on the actual sensor itself. We've also checked the X and Y-axis deviation and the difference is very small.

I got this mouse last week and I am loving it so far. I primarily fingertip grip when gaming and was a bit concerned about the shape not fitting me (my other mice are the GPW, S1), but I immediately preferred this shape compared to my other mice. While I get that this mouse is primarily aimed for FPS games, I find it perfectly suitable for MOBA as well. Thanks VAXEE!
Interesting design with nice idea's about shape. I would like to put a idea about maybe new mouse design. Alot of people use naturally a claw grip where the palm rests on the back of the mouse and the fingers arch around the mouse. One person arch there fingers more aggressively and the other relaxes it more. But actually there is no great aggressive claw grip esports mouse on the market yet. Only the gpro wireless and zowie s1 shape is close. The problem that aggressive claw grippers have is that the ring and pinky finger don't get enough support. The new vaxee design the mouse flares out too much to the rightside which pushes out the pink finger and gives problem with lifting the mouse up. On s1 the problem is that the ringfinger gets pushed out on the top because the middle is smaller then the top of mouse design. Which gives weird grip for aggressive claw. For this grip you want to right side of the mouse more like the gpro wireless but with little bit more aggressive lines and shape to make sure I can lift the mouse easily without losing control on ring and pink finger. Also the idea of left side of the new vaxee mouse is great for claw grippers as well. But you don't want too much curve to the left just a little bit to support. Another problem is the hump with S1 is that the hump should be more to the back without a angle climbing slowly higher. So the palm can rests directly on the hump. And also to give it more a ergonomic feel on a ambi shape if I can rest my palm directly on the mouse. Even the ZA series has a problem where the hump is not place directly towards the back. The height should be like EC around 4.0mm and not 3.9mm. I like the idea about side buttons. Too big is not good. Also comfort groves in mouse buttons is great. I hope this idea can create a great aggressive claw grip design with 125mm length, 5,9mm grip width and 4mm height. Smaller version can be 120mm length, 5,7mm grip width and 3,9mm height. A close design shape could be ninox venator. Goodluck with new company I love the explanation of the shape ❤️

is it normal to pull the mouse bungie like that? I've always left a lot of slack in the cord so it doesn't pull, so the cord does make contact with the pad, but idk if that's the intention
The intention is to keep the cord off the desk so that it doesn't drag and there is consistency in your movement. This is also the reason we don't favour very soft paracords. Other than for durability concerns, very soft paracords will end up flopping on the desk / pad even when using a bungee.
@@VAXEE Doesn't the bungie create resistance though? I have a razer bungie and it definitely resists any pulls on the cord, so the drag on the mousepad from the cord is less. Maybe I need to get a zowie bungie like yours.
@@LegitMeow we can't advise on what type of bungee to use but the purpose of the bungee is to help with freedom of movement and consistency. If you're moving freely and can replicate that movement each time, you're good. Regardless of whether there is pull back from the bungee or if your cable is dragging a little. With our cable attachment point (some people call it stress relief) on the mouse, we have designed it so that it angles up aggressively, further keeping the cable off the table. You can actually physically push that point up further if you want an even more aggressive upward angle.
I have feedback: Will there be dpi steps for 1440p resolution monitors? 1440p 240hz monitors are becoming mainstream and have become a thing since around 2019 and 2020.
Joseph Romero our mouse has DPI steps of 400, 800, 1600 and 3200. This is a an esports mouse and virtually no competitive player uses a resolution over 1080p and most use 400 and 800 dpi steps so we have no plan to have higher than 3200 dpi, which we think is plenty enough for 1440p anyway.

We believe it does work for 1-3-1 grip but that will depend on your 1-3-1 grip and how comfortable you find the shape. We have added the slight curve on the right side to make it easier to place, lift and move with your pinky.
It uses huano switches but the click feeling is not totally up to that, also for our button design. This means that the same switch on a different mouse will not provide you the same result.
@@japZk we don't copy shapes. We will have a symmetrical mouse in the future and the switched we use are pink Huanos. But again, just putting in those switches will not give you the same click feel.

what is this 'tilt' u're talking about? the angle of ur wrist/how u grip the mouse relative to your hand (when looking from bottom)?? or just the angle of how u 'tilt' your fingers?
Hi, thank you for your question. We have adapted the sensor to fit our design philosophy and have tested the tracking feeling (LOD on different pads, deviation of DPI). People who use ridiculous high dpi values have no idea what they're doing.

i currently use the g pro wireless and i have a lot of these problems, i will keep my eye out for this. one issue I have with the gpw is that with my grip style i feel its hard for me to click fast/react fast. how light will the clicks be on this mouse in comparison to the gpw?

Might sound like a weird question, but you've basically combined two of my favorite shapes (the earlier EC and FK models - I love both of them). Any chance you'll release a version with a more uniform matte coating? Me and a few of my truly sweaty handed friends (Netherlands & half of Europe having insane humidity not helping) usually do best with either plain plastic or diehard anti-sweat coatings like those found on for instance an XM1 (I'm sure you're aware of this mouse). This would be an instant buy for several of us if something like that ever becomes available. Keep up the nice work, this is a number 1 contender for most interesting shape in 2020.

This design is amazing and I think it will suit many people. I used the Zowie S2 for many months, but the right side was never comfortable or easy to get a consistent grip for me. I ended up moving to an EC2 which has a perfect right side curve, even though the mouse is a little bulkier than I would like, even though I have big hands. This design appears to combine the best aspects of symmetrical mice with those secure, comfortable ergonomics of ergo mice. It's very impressive. Definitely interested.

Your shape look like the real successor of the legendary IO1.1 and WMO. This will please palm and relaxed claw grippers. Nowadays the weight has become a major deciding factor for me (a improvement I've been waiting for a decade), it release a lot of the grip tension when not using optimal shapes. It's the reason I've adapted to the flat profile of my modded Glorious O- and why my eyes are on the *Hati-S*. 50g as my new standard.

!! AAAAA YESSS FINALLY MORE OF THESE SHAPES, THANK GOD DUDE :o So tired of having to rely on ergos sheerly for their right sides that give my right two fingers somewhere to sit in palm. All while desperately needing for just one ergo to have a more finely tapered profile shape like an ambi so that I don’t feel like I’m aiming with like, a literal brick. Got so desperate for it that I even modded an ambi mouse with clay just to create the shape I needed myself lol. Then I finally finally finally got something like what I’ve been looking for with the Xtrfy M4, which was really hype for me. But now I’m even excited more than I thought I could be, now that more options are coming out with potentially better quality control and attention to detail. Which are specifically the only things more that I could’ve asked for lol, just buttons with no wobble and travel. And then with this one we’re throwin in an angled cable exit and adjustable click latency on top of everything else?? Now I’m just being spoiled lmao

seems really good for the e-sport market and demands, wouldn t be suprised if it became the new g pro wireless, i would really like to see a lightweight version at around 65g tho

@@VAXEE iget that but the market has kinda changed and your closing your doors to many people like me who are really looking for lightweight mices, i respect it when a company takes time to listen to critisizme and respond even when standing on their ground. guys are going to go far. and people are ok with making the compromise, look at for example glorious and the g wolves skoll mini, their mices are known for not being very sturdy but even though a lot of people are willing to make teh sacrifice for 60g and under.

@VAXEE I think that's a very good point in reference to a game like CSGO where horizontal corrections are most important while vertical corrections are much smaller than in other games.
As much as I prescribe to Hektik's Grip Type analysis* I think the biggest determinant between shapes is going to be whether the pinky should sit towards the front or the back of the mouse, and this is something that's going to be influenced by the game and someone's sensitivity. We may see mousepads tossed through a similar framework in the near future as people decide between different friction properties.

How much cpi/dpi deviation can we expect? I mean if i choose 400 dpi will it really be 400? Cpi /dpi deviation is a big problem for me cause every new mouse feels so different
Hello, based on our testing, should you select 400 DPI, the range will be between 400 to 410 depending on the actual sensor itself. We've also checked the X and Y-axis deviation and the difference is very small.

I got this mouse last week and I am loving it so far. I primarily fingertip grip when gaming and was a bit concerned about the shape not fitting me (my other mice are the GPW, S1), but I immediately preferred this shape compared to my other mice. While I get that this mouse is primarily aimed for FPS games, I find it perfectly suitable for MOBA as well. Thanks VAXEE!

Interesting design with nice idea's about shape. I would like to put a idea about maybe new mouse design. Alot of people use naturally a claw grip where the palm rests on the back of the mouse and the fingers arch around the mouse. One person arch there fingers more aggressively and the other relaxes it more. But actually there is no great aggressive claw grip esports mouse on the market yet. Only the gpro wireless and zowie s1 shape is close. The problem that aggressive claw grippers have is that the ring and pinky finger don't get enough support. The new vaxee design the mouse flares out too much to the rightside which pushes out the pink finger and gives problem with lifting the mouse up. On s1 the problem is that the ringfinger gets pushed out on the top because the middle is smaller then the top of mouse design. Which gives weird grip for aggressive claw. For this grip you want to right side of the mouse more like the gpro wireless but with little bit more aggressive lines and shape to make sure I can lift the mouse easily without losing control on ring and pink finger. Also the idea of left side of the new vaxee mouse is great for claw grippers as well. But you don't want too much curve to the left just a little bit to support. Another problem is the hump with S1 is that the hump should be more to the back without a angle climbing slowly higher. So the palm can rests directly on the hump. And also to give it more a ergonomic feel on a ambi shape if I can rest my palm directly on the mouse. Even the ZA series has a problem where the hump is not place directly towards the back. The height should be like EC around 4.0mm and not 3.9mm. I like the idea about side buttons. Too big is not good. Also comfort groves in mouse buttons is great. I hope this idea can create a great aggressive claw grip design with 125mm length, 5,9mm grip width and 4mm height. Smaller version can be 120mm length, 5,7mm grip width and 3,9mm height. A close design shape could be ninox venator. Goodluck with new company I love the explanation of the shape ❤️

is it normal to pull the mouse bungie like that? I've always left a lot of slack in the cord so it doesn't pull, so the cord does make contact with the pad, but idk if that's the intention
The intention is to keep the cord off the desk so that it doesn't drag and there is consistency in your movement.
This is also the reason we don't favour very soft paracords. Other than for durability concerns, very soft paracords will end up flopping on the desk / pad even when using a bungee.
@@VAXEE Doesn't the bungie create resistance though? I have a razer bungie and it definitely resists any pulls on the cord, so the drag on the mousepad from the cord is less. Maybe I need to get a zowie bungie like yours.
@@LegitMeow we can't advise on what type of bungee to use but the purpose of the bungee is to help with freedom of movement and consistency.
If you're moving freely and can replicate that movement each time, you're good. Regardless of whether there is pull back from the bungee or if your cable is dragging a little.
With our cable attachment point (some people call it stress relief) on the mouse, we have designed it so that it angles up aggressively, further keeping the cable off the table. You can actually physically push that point up further if you want an even more aggressive upward angle.
I have feedback: Will there be dpi steps for 1440p resolution monitors? 1440p 240hz monitors are becoming mainstream and have become a thing since around 2019 and 2020.
Joseph Romero our mouse has DPI steps of 400, 800, 1600 and 3200. This is a an esports mouse and virtually no competitive player uses a resolution over 1080p and most use 400 and 800 dpi steps so we have no plan to have higher than 3200 dpi, which we think is plenty enough for 1440p anyway.

Does this mouse work well with a 1-3-1 hand grip? (like a GPW do, for example)
We believe it does work for 1-3-1 grip but that will depend on your 1-3-1 grip and how comfortable you find the shape. We have added the slight curve on the right side to make it easier to place, lift and move with your pinky.
can you tell me what is the switch used in this mouse? i love them! Would like to replace and put it on my sensei ten!
It uses huano switches but the click feeling is not totally up to that, also for our button design. This means that the same switch on a different mouse will not provide you the same result.

Hi, thank you for your question. We have adapted the sensor to fit our design philosophy and have tested the tracking feeling (LOD on different pads, deviation of DPI). We find that it fits our focus which is - real world use, instead of stats or numbers from testing. We are glad to hear that you agree with our design philosophy!

Might sound like a weird question, but you've basically combined two of my favorite shapes (the earlier EC and FK models - I love both of them). Any chance you'll release a version with a more uniform matte coating? Me and a few of my truly sweaty handed friends (Netherlands & half of Europe having insane humidity not helping) usually do best with either plain plastic or diehard anti-sweat coatings like those found on for instance an XM1 (I'm sure you're aware of this mouse). This would be an instant buy for several of us if something like that ever becomes available. Keep up the nice work, this is a number 1 contender for most interesting shape in 2020.

This design is amazing and I think it will suit many people. I used the Zowie S2 for many months, but the right side was never comfortable or easy to get a consistent grip for me. I ended up moving to an EC2 which has a perfect right side curve, even though the mouse is a little bulkier than I would like, even though I have big hands.
This design appears to combine the best aspects of symmetrical mice with those secure, comfortable ergonomics of ergo mice. It's very impressive. Definitely interested.

Nowadays the weight has become a major deciding factor for me (a improvement I've been waiting for a decade), it release a lot of the grip tension when not using optimal shapes.

!! AAAAA YESSS FINALLY MORE OF THESE SHAPES, THANK GOD DUDE :o So tired of having to rely on ergos sheerly for their right sides that give my right two fingers somewhere to sit in palm. All while desperately needing for just one ergo to have a more finely tapered profile shape like an ambi so that I don’t feel like I’m aiming with like, a literal brick. Got so desperate for it that I even modded an ambi mouse with clay just to create the shape I needed myself lol. Then I finally finally finally got something like what I’ve been looking for with the Xtrfy M4, which was really hype for me. But now I’m even excited more than I thought I could be, now that more options are coming out with potentially better quality control and attention to detail. Which are specifically the only things more that I could’ve asked for lol, just buttons with no wobble and travel. And then with this one we’re throwin in an angled cable exit and adjustable click latency on top of everything else?? Now I’m just being spoiled lmao

Thank you for your positive comments. With our current design, 75 is as low as we are willing to go without compromising structural integrity. We are not chasing the lightest weights as we feel that weight is something players can always get used to. However poor build quality is not.

@@VAXEE iget that but the market has kinda changed and your closing your doors to many people like me who are really looking for lightweight mices, i respect it when a company takes time to listen to critisizme and respond even when standing on their ground. guys are going to go far. and people are ok with making the compromise, look at for example glorious and the g wolves skoll mini, their mices are known for not being very sturdy but even though a lot of people are willing to make teh sacrifice for 60g and under.

I can’t really hold the g pro or viper ultimate on the left side since I got pretty big hands, so a wireless mouse with a lot of room for your finger placement will still take a while, I guess. :D
