What I love about this is how Mangle somehow senses that their conversation is being recorded, watched by someone he can’t see. It makes it seem like the entire VCR system is possessed, it actively tries to force you away from the recording. He senses that what he’s saying and doing is being watched, he is not alone. The system then takes control, calling the watcher a cheater for breaking the system to get to the recording. It’s such a good fourth wall break, fictional things realizing they are being watched by something.
My theory is Mangle is trying to communicate through the messenger to the viewer. I listened the hardest I could and came to the conclusion she said (in order); "You have come too far." "You have dug too deep." "I have the key." "But not yet." "There is un-seen eyes watching us." "We are not-" And the tape bugs out. I would assume she says dead.

They’re like animals, apparently. I personally don’t like when tapes show them verbally communicating, but it could be done well. I just think them being quiet is more unsettling, the mental torture these children must be enduring is beyond words and comprehension.
i wonder whose watching the tapes, (i doubt there’s an actual story behind these other than a spooky addition to canon stuff but still) like there’s clearly an actual human going through the menus and stuff and pausing after the third tape cuts unexpectedly and tries to brute force their way into the next menu. are we just some teen who went dumpster diving near the pizzerias and just found them? are we investigating the old case? are we paranormal investigators looking into the haunted buildings finding these tapes edited by the kids in hopes to tell the full story of what went oh so wrong in those horrid times? who knows, maybe we’re the newest kill trying to edit the tapes ourselves. it’s stuff like that that gets me into these creepypasta (could we call it that?) tapes... it’s just so interesting; who we could be, why are we doing this.

William created mangle to pick up radio stations because ya know he’s a cereal killer and there’s cops out there so he created mangle to pick up what people say on radios and to communicate through them. So when mangle was communicating through the answering machine they probably were trying to ask for help or telling the guard that all of them are alive and he’s come to the wrong place
William didn't make the Toy ones. They were made by his ex partner who programmed them to attack William on sight. Mangle picks up signals because they're too broken to filter out signals correctly.
I haven't any idea if anyone noticed this small detail, but when mangle was trying to communicate, everytime they spoke there were red pinpoints in their eyes

Okay mangle is my favourite animatronic and here's why- It's so dismantled that it strides away so much form how it used to look like, from the anthropomorphic features being completely gone and it looking so far away from human is creepy to me, but I also really like it (I'm not the part of the fnaf community that ships animatronics its really fucking WEIRD..)
