Think about how your eye works, you have two different types of light sensitive cells in your eye. The ones which activate in twilight/darkness are more sensitive to a wider range of light waves.
Your eye works, because light hits an object and absorbs some parts of the spectrum and reflects others, that reflected light, enters your eye and is translated into an electrical signal by the light sensitive cells, your brain then interprets that information and creates the image you see.
If something absorbed large portions of the light spectrum, it would appear to be a void, when observed by the light sensitive cells used in the daytime, your brain cant consolidate that, it makes no sense, so using the same function that means you dont see your nose, it just fills in the details, the same scenario in the twilight/darkness, where your eye uses a much more sensitive light detecting cell, your eye can perceive the parts of the light spectrum that this object doesn’t absorb, you would perceive what is there.
Ever sat in the house during the day, when you know, your alone but you can’t shake the feeling there is someone else in house, you look everywhere but your definitely alone but the feeling persists.
Everything, you’ve ever seen in life is a reflection, unless it produces its own light source, like the sun, fire, television, your phone All the things, people in history become obsessed with.

I’ve never used meth, but I am epileptic and had a massive seizure that put me down for a month. I had a life in there, at the very least for five years. Being convinced that this life was the real thing took close to a year. I loved and lost people, and I still miss them. Honest reality is a matter of perspective.

I'd be interested in hearing that story.

@@loribrandon8392 It’s fun to talk about now that I’m pretty sure it’s dealt with. I never had a memory of when the seizure happened, so there’s no neat border between real life and the coma. Unfortunately I also don’t have a memory of waking up, so the lines are blurred in both directions.
I had a seizure and slipped into a coma for a month. To everyone else I was just asleep, but I’m not sure that I was. I had a job in that life that wasn’t terribly different from a job I’d have anyway. I lived with my friends, and I talked to my family regularly. There was no reason to think something was wrong, or that it was a dream. Some of those people died in that dream, and I mourned them later. When I finally accepted that none of that happened (probably), I had to admit that those loved ones weren’t just dead, they were never real and I was upset over people that never existed.
I wonder if this life is the real life, and I’d really rather just wake up to that other one. I miss them as much as I’ve ever missed anyone. If it’s just my mind playing tricks on me, I don’t care. I was happier then.

So I’ve seen something that wasn’t a shadow person but eyes. I was at a sleepover and I woke up In the middle of the night to see large green catlike eyes. They were huge! I looked away for a bit and when I checked again they disappeared. I’ve never seen them again.

Shadow people show up in the darkness of the house, I've seen 3. No two were the same. So, no. Not the same one

I've seen two, one at the foot of my bed and one right next to the bed, both during sleep paralysis.
