I agree 100% with you! I have loved Engelbert's music and he was and still is a very handsome man who I have been in love with since he began . I have always wanted an autographed photo of him but do not know how to get one. That wish is the only thing I have in my bucket list! He has made my heart beat very fast over many years! I am now 83 and listen to him almost every day in my life! I was very fortunate to go to 2 of his concerts and would give anything to see him again but now the years have been hard for me and physically I am not able to attend another. Thank you Engelbert for being kind, loving and sweet and for many memories you have given me and millions of other fans! JJ

Sometimes I’m surprised by the interviews I still find that I’ve never heard before. Like, where was I for that one? When it was live. But here I am, finding another one.
That was so interesting. Engelbert was so casual. Serious too; not joking around, a man-to-man interview. And it was good to see the preview when you were getting ready which just comtinued on and became part of the whole thing. It's like you filmed an actual conversation with no beginning or end. A chat. I like that. One of the best interviews I've seen.

I enjoyed this interview tremendously. I saw Enge in Vegas at the Hilton in 1982. I fell in love with the man and his music. Of course, I heard Please Release Me back in 1967, when I was 13 years old. My friends thought I was weird because I was always listening to Connie Francis and Engelbert Humperdinck.
Good to see this, he was still in great vocal shape then. Also good to see a serious interview, without all the trying to be funny. Great singer and entertainer.
