First time catching your vlog. I used to work in a bank and I was having some PTSD with the coin machine lol. Difference for me is we kept bags on the machine then would have to crimp them up and have Brinks pick them up. $200 in Nickels weighs a TON lol I would also have to have all my bills neat and tidy and all facing the same way.
Hamilton's stackers can be very troublesome. Their validators are also finicky, not reliable, expensive to service, and can be cheated fairly easily. I strongly recommend upgrading to a MEI validator which has an integrated stacker. They are much more reliable and accept bills a lot easier. Etowah Valley Equipment has a conversion kit that's very easy to install, and doesn't require cutting a new opening in the door (Hamilton's conversion uses an upstacker model which won't fit using the original opening).

This is a very interesting take on how money is collected and counted at a laundromat. However, I wonder about a couple of things. 1) Shouldn't you be keeping track of how much money each particular machine is generating? This would tell you about the usage of each machine which can tell you what machines need more maintenance 2) Shouldn't you also be keeping track of the soap & fabric softener sales? It can tell you how much profit (or loss) this revenue is generating. 3) Aren't you worried about catching "coinborne pathogens" handling all that currency & coinage with your bare hands? You ought to wear gloves when handling it to help ensure you don't catch something. Finally, you ought to get another bucket that you can use to collect the coins. That way, you don't have to worry about spilling coins all over the place.
Brandon, for your note counter get yourself a bit of cardboard and weight it a bit with some pennies or other bit of scrap metal, better yet try using a can of POP!
Have you heard about the new REFUND coin dispensers where if a customer calls and says they lost their money in a particular machine, they can CALL you, you give them a one time code to key in, similar to the old public phone keypads of the 80’s, and refund their money once you link the refund machine to your phone or pad device bro ? Saves you from going to Chillicothe these exist now in California I heard
