Twitter ho...
Hey guys, thank you for the EnergyGirl reviews. Yes, the "halos" are gone for the most part, and will be from here on out, as I decided to vote with Larned and give them the heave-ho. Agreed that the new look is better, though a halo may still sneak in if a panel is very dark or something. As to the "Cat" episode, this is actually the mid-issue of a trilogy telling the story of Joe Ely Carrales' Mari and Niko and their fateful trip to be trained by EG -- and how they all ended up in 1947. "Cat's Meow" is the first issue, which I think you have, and the sequel "Cat.. to the Future" grew so long that it was divided into two parts. You have here the first half; the second half was not available yet when I sent you this one, but is available now. I'll send you both a copy. All three were done in collaboration with Joe Ely Carrales III and David Martiny.
Totally enjoying your comics, stories and artwork, Ken-- you just get better and better. Keep on doing what you're doing, do it in the style that makes you happy, and thanks for the great reading and inspiration that your books provide. :)
Thanks, fellows, for the kind words on my *PPFSZT! story, "Devil 13," and mentioning Mr. Boyle's terrific imagery. Means a lot ...
Good Job!!
To my mind, "Devil 13" was the finest story in the issue... and that's saying a lot! Thanks for commenting, Mike! :)
Great episode guys. There's so much talent out there!
Thanks Shane, and I agree!
Great show as always, guys!
Thanks so much for taking the time to look at this year's Horrendous! It's a lot of fun putting the anthology together each Halloween and I feel extremely lucky to be able to work with such awesome creators!
FYI... The characters featured on the back of *PPFSZT! #51 are some sci-fi heroes from DC Comics. They are Adam Strange (as you mentioned), Space Ranger, Captain Comet and hitching a ride with Space Cabby are the Atomic Knights. :)
It's a great book!
@@LarnedJustin Thanks!
Even though there was a technical glitch and the window that was supposed to show the zine covers at the bottom didn't happen as it should, it was still a fun video to do. And great to see and discuss such great creativity in the alternative comics community! The next video will be even more fun, and can't wait to see it! :)
We need a comic book story that hunts technical glitches down and shoots them.
@@LarnedJustin That's for darn sure! lol ;)
Yep yup yep
