I have a 24 ft tri toon on lake Erie. Gets rough out there. Will these handle 2-3ft chop?

Noticed you cut a section out of the bunks, seems like once you let the boat back down the fins are going to hit the remaining bunks?
I have to put the trailer a little bit further in the water. Depends on the boat ramp. Once I got used to it I haven't had any problems.
