Clever girl. I have been fixing things with loads of wires for over 50 years. And, I can never remember where they came from, so don't know where they go. I fixed this with photos and drawings, tags and if possible original schematics. She just remembers. Also when I wanted a spare part I had to go get one from somewhere, with a fat wallet needed. This young lady is vastly superior she just reaches behind for a plastic bag with just the right part.
I like the black spray can burn on the inside of the lid to emphasise the cable damage. Great for showing the big job she had so she gets a better sale value. Bet that cap she took out went back in the same spot. seems the thermal paste was still good after being washed off though, terrific saving there.
She is clever, she just invented a new snap connector for the wires, I could not see the secret of it as it was hidden under heat shrink.
Such amazing confidence, I would have put one nut on each row of the pots until I found out that it all worked. Not this lass, all nuts on, all knobs on, all together plug in her expensive phone, then power up and let it rip.
Still I think I will watch the next one as well.

Wow you're amazing. These amplifiers are legendary back in the day when people still had home stereo systems. Judging by the design these must be 40 years ago or more. Luckily the components inside are still good. What an amazing find and incredible job restoring it. Well done.

Spray painting the floor may not have been the most geniusish thing to do though 😎
man those are absolutely huge. Really nice knobs on that unit, I'd like to give them a tweak just to see what they feel like. must have been a lot of work to carry it around, for your back. Looks like a rack unit.

So she basically took that amp apart, cleaned it with a brush then magic happened and she put it all together. Great.

Do not use the solder gun for electronic work
Where are the lead core and fluxside
No check and no cleaning for contacts
No resoldering for every points
No seperate test for each circuit
And you make your floor dirty from spray paint
1) It takes a great deal of skill to spray-paint that cover, on such a small newspaper and not get paint in the floor tiles.
2) That solder gun looks even bigger and heavier than Glasslinger's!
3) Does that drill even have a clutch? I always use a normal screwdriver for tightening self-tappers into thin mild steel.
4) Solder. She needs to use some ;)

This lady has done a marvellous job of restoring the amplifier. Her patience is phenomenal! But her usage of tools is not correct....for electronics work she should use a smaller electric screw driver and not that jumbo sized drill machine. And instead of using a soldering gun she should use a lighter, regular soldering iron, because that gun can cause physical fatigue if held for long periods of time.
By the way, I missed some important parts of the video.....the naughty eyes kept wandering.......😜
So, random girl found an old amplifier, which has a burned circuit board, but somehow, she already has a spare one. Yeah, sounds legit. 😆
