- We’re gearing up for Disney’s Official Pin Trading Event “Magic HapPins”, and we’re SO EXCITED! Will you be there too? Disney World's Official Pin Events have pin trading boards FILLED with rare, limited edition and sometimes even UNRELEASED pins!
We thought it would be helpful to put together a video of our tips and tricks on how to be prepared if it’s your first trading event! We went for the first time last year at the “One Family” event, and it was a BLAST! But there were definitely some things we had to learn.

What is your current holy grail pin which you want / need? End of June, I found an Ariel pin from Paris and released in 2009 in my local charity shop for 50p / 75c.
woooooo I'm so excited to go back again this year! I got first pick after a board refresh last year and pulled some INCREDIBLE haunted mansion pins
That is awesome! I think we got second pick one time last year and it was overwhelming with how many amazing pins there were!

Hi Shannon and Nick. My wife and I will be at Magic Hap-pins and we’re excited to hear about your event at Pin HQ on Thursday. Sadly, unless something changes we’ll be in the air on our way down to Orlando. But, mywife says we absolutely must trade with you for one of your signature Lightning McQueen pins. Looking forward to seeing you both there.
Hopefully we can catch you at the Magic HapPins! We’ll bring plenty of the McQueens with us!
Ah thank you for this video!! So excited for the event. I have a couple questions I’m hoping you can help with… can you use loungefly pins to trade at the boards? And did you bring any of your pin books to trade on the event days (not pick up day) or just a pin lanyard and the ones you’re using for the boards? Thank you!!
Yes as long as the pins have copyright Disney on the back they are tradable, we did bring our pin books on the event day last year, but since this year you can get in the lines unlimited times we won’t be bringing all our books on the event day

We didn’t get everything we were hoping for but did get most of them! Really excited we got the light up jumbo castle!! That’s the pin i was hoping to get the most!

Not sure about the dates for next year, they don’t announce it until about 2-3 months beforehand. It’s usually in August tho. We don’t have not so scary tickets but have a trip to California planned so we will be headed to oogie boogie!
@@pincessshannon Thanks, we'll have to check those dates once they're announced. That's awesome! Oggie Boogie Bash looks like so much fun. We've been to Disneyland and CA several times but never got to go to that event. We have however been to not so scary. We also wondered if you guys had ever traded with King Pin at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
About how much does a pin event ticket cost?
How do I find these events? My kids and I would absolutely love it.
Disney will announce them on their website 2-3 months ahead of time, it’s usually every year in august
