I am trying this recipe for long time and came out very nicely many times. But nowadays sugar is not dissolving properly even after making powder. What might be the problem?
hmm..... 🤔 it should be issue with the Sugar itself?

One thing you can do is melt the powdered sugar in milk before adding it to the mix; that way, you can ensure the sugar is completely dissolved beforehand.

you can use refined oil, but or half ghee and half oil, but mysore pak is with ghee :)

how to get double colour in Mysore Pak
like in shops
you have make in large quantity, when you pour it onto the plate, mix will be still hot, it makes the bottom layer little golden brown and top golden yellow, if we make in 1 cup it is hard to get 2 color
To get double colour, you must add ghee and oil in equal quantities (since colour is due to density difference between the two). And once you finish cooking transfer the mix into a deep tray (depth of the tray gives space for oil and ghee to settle in layers). Follow this and you will get double coloured mysorepak as in shops.

Good recipe.Try creating your own Facebook page and share few, there are lot of fb pages who are sharing the video without any credit, I request you to work on it.
we do have our swayam paaka page Meghana it is sad that there are some people with no ethics are doing that, down loading our videos and playing it on their page or you tube channel :( with out giving any credits and with out our permission.

Tried as shown with same proportion of ghee besan and sugar but it turned out sticky and had difficulty removing from the dish even though ghee was applied on the dish what must have gone wrong?

My wife tried this method. Her feed back is: the outcome tastes, feels more likes six cups than Mysore Pak. I understand that sugar is carameled.
