I think those jaspers are beautiful, I’d be happy with one or two of them. As for those little glowing agates, they were gorgeous. You’re so lucky to be able to go to a beach and find all that beautiful material. Thank you for sharing x❤
Oregon is full of this stuff and I definitely feel lucky to be in such an awesome spot ^^

Oh my heck, loved all those great stone and the ocean and the sea shore.( Time at 2:40) I think those stones reminds me of regular moon stone and later in the video some blue moon stone. But I don't know for sure. Can't always tell in pictures, but all was lovely to see, especially the sea. Thanks, agian, for sharing. I could feel the moist salt air on my face by just watching.
Glad you enjoyed it and great to hear from ya ^^

Beautiful local! Definitely my type of rockhounding spot. Surprisingly similar types of rocks I find. But, then there were some extra cool jasper and some awesome agates you found that were unlike what I find along the lake. There was a small light pink and green tinged one that was really cool that stood out. I can see why you love that spot. Thanks for sharing, bro!
I'll have to take you there someday bro, you'll love it there ^^
I can see why you don't want to go! That's a dream spot, variety & beautiful to be rockhounding on the beach 👍 Lucky You! & the awesome night pics.

My Favorite Spot to Rockhound in Oregon
Where is it?
My favorite beach(es) are at Oceanside. Through the tunnel or go around the cape and there are several beaches to rockhound, finding Carnelians, blue and black agates, a variety of jaspers, including agate jaspers, gold can be found here too, as well as small pearls, opals, petrified wood and fossils. Oh, as well as the main beach by the parking lot, to the south are more and more rock beds to rockhound. Oceanside has it all.
Very nice spot!
Wish I knew the location.
Otter Point. Gold Beach
@TheRogueRockhound Right on thanks mucho!!!!
@TheRogueRockhound I thought I recognized the location😂
i have a few nice specimens of Jasper from the Chetco River that are beautiful mixes of red and green. Nice video!

9:01 Amygdoloidal basalt? Would they be zeolites?
Thats what I'm thinking
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing, just got back from collecting on the Chetco, but really didn't see any jasper. Can't wait to get back to Gold Beach.
I have a place in the mountains near where Copco lake used to be, where the ground is absolutely littered with rough jasper and agates If I sat down, it wouldn't take long to fill up a 5gal bucket without moving.
That sounds great! Maybe I should check it out one day.
Thanks for watching ^^
@@TheRogueRockhound The views are wonderful, the hike back with a bucket and backpack full of rocks, not so much. Im curious to see the new landscape now that the damns have been removed. I bet there might be some good rock collection in the new drainages too.
Where is this???? I live on the Oregon coast and want to go there! 😃

Thank you! 🙏
Where are you? What beach?
Otter Point. Gold Beach, Oregon
8:50 I picked some of this material up on Vancouver island! Some of it looks like it has little agate pockets as well.
Nice man! That sounds awesome!
I really want to start finding more stuff like that.
Thank you from Gold Beach! Very nice!
You're very welcome!
Say hi if you ever see me around town, I visit often ^^
Especially in winter
Unbelievable! I could have filled the bed of my truck with rocks from there! The colors are so amazing. I'm gonna plan a trip there in the spring. Thank you for sharing your favorite spot with us!
Absolutely!

Breaking News: Man found at bottom of trail with 800 lbs of rock in back pack. He had sunk down to his waist in the sand refusing to give up even a single rock. In an interview he had stated he had been down there for 2 weeks. Firefighters and Coast Guard dispatched two helicopters to the scene leveraging ropes to help pull him and the rocks to the parking lot 300 yards above the steep trail. Fortunately, the man was ok.
HAHAHAHA!
Great video! I love the close-ups. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
