NO! It's not climbing rope! It's called Paracord, or Parachute Cord. That's also what those handles are made of on the backpack.
The reason the soles are so thick are so your feet don't get sore when hiking, and the tread is designed for grip when hiking on rocks etc.
Ya I know they're supposed to be "hiking shoes" but who's actually gonna hike in them like where's the ankle support ya know

The ‘climbing rope’ is called 550 paracord. It is not used for climbing, but is very strong so it can be used for many things.

When you shoot the ball look at the ball's flight don't stay locked onto the rim
try jumping higher and less arc, like 90 degrees is a guaranteed if you can generate the strength if you can't, then jump up a bit like on your tiptoes and have a lot of arch and it will go in. Trust it works.
