I do make $7.50 as my hourly rate in NY plus my tips.

This is why I always tip $20-$40 no matter if it’s delivery, or a restaurant. You all work so hard, and deserve tips no matter what. “He hates me” 💀😂

Idk how people don’t tip at least 20%. Even if the service was ok I give that much. and if it was really good I give extra 🤷🏻♀️
Thank you for sharing this with us. I work in a restaurant at a resort on the Central Coast of California and I make around the same as you described (give or take). My hours are usually 430pm - 930/10pm. My hourly is $17. I always find it interesting how other servers operate in their jobs.
I remember my waitress days and when it’s good, it can rock! However, when it’s slow it can be bad. Sooo much patience in serving! Congrats on meeting your goal! 👏🏼 You’re a hustler! 😊
