Omg!! I remember being fascinated by these rides when I used to visit as a kid. Haven't seen any pics or vids of them since. Great upload, thanks for the memories :)
@psyclonesteve It is actually not the same Condor ride, that was installed @ Phantasialand (Germany), they got their ride back in the 80s as a new installment. The Condor @ Phantasialand was replaced by Talocan (Huss Giant Giant Top Spin) in 2007. I've seen that there was a(nother) Condor at Pleasure Island (Cleethorpes) before that one was sold in 2006 to France. Maybe this was the one that operated at GYPB before? Have there been other Condors in GB?
Can anybody tell me, what happened to the Condor ride? When was it installed @ Great Yarmouth and when did it disappear? Where was / is it located afterwards?
the pleasure beach in great yarmouth is nothing like i just see there was more people there and better rides it a heap off bol**sif you ask me and i live here too
The year i was born... oh my god that was so much better back then.

So there was a different log flume back then? That’s weird because the current log flume was built in 1989 so there must’ve been 2 log flumes.
yes they did for a little while this flume was at the very back of the park where the waltzers is now
The one in the video is the water shoot. It wasn't the same as the flume as it was a rollercoaster that went through water and it didn't float.

This is exactly how it was back then.
