I put MCT oil on my scalp and it got rid of my flaking. It was so bad and embarrassing at the front of my scalp and now is gone. I got the idea to use MCT oil by watching Meek’s World as she was starting her loc journey.
@@latifalove8344 Hello. I still use the MCT oil. I put it in my hair and let it set for minutes to a couple of hours before shampooing. Also, I use occasionally to oil (very sparingly) the hairline/edges. From Amazon, I purchased the natures way organic MCT oil
I had this.. It was at its worse when I was relaxing my hair. I went natural and it eventually went away. I found the thing that helped clear it was washing it often (every other day -- head and shoulders in the blue-gray bottle). Then a very CREAMY deep condition. NO OILS. Oils made it worse. I use conditioner as moisturizer. I use everyday shea as hairdress and conditioner. Washing it often until the flare up goes away worked, even daily if needed. Once it went away, I didn't have to do much to it but keep it moisturized (co-washing) and washing it once or twice a week. But I should say I swim just about everyday (M-F) so I wash my hair just about everyday. I use swimmers shampoo and conditioner and leave my everyday shea in it post swim and just twist it up.
Ahh ookay, gotcha! I use to use head and shoulders myself, but found selsun blue clears it up more on my end. I currently wash once a week and so far so good! Gald you’re method works! It’s super annoying to deal with, but hopefully soon it’ll be completely gone for me. :D
@@Sayalejandra i hope it clears for you too. Washing daily was a pain and the use of special shampoos also got old, but hopefully these problems will go away for good soon. And I'm gonna try the shampoo you recommended as my sister refuses to quit relaxers and has this problem also!
I hate it with a passion. I tried selsun blue and it did nothing for mine. I did used to use the garlic shampoo when I was still getting Dominican blow outs and the mask. I will see if I can find a small bottle to see how it does for my sebderm.
Have you done any elimination diets? I did all the shampoos and reduction of oil and thought it was the only thing working, turns out I was accidentally not eating any diary whatsoever, because the moment I started eating some croissants, the routine went to dust. Now I've recreated scalp snow several times by deliberately having milk. And I had seb derm for 10 years. Thought I had lactose intolerance exactly when the seb derm started, but kept eating food with traces of milk... Turns out it was a milk allergy.
Our moms always know what to do. My mom also use to make a garlic shampoo concoction for my scalp! I’ll have to try the fenugreek oil, sounds amazing
No seriously! & it’s so good! Really has helped a ton. 🙌🏾
I’m always down to watch a wash routine so yes please! Thank you again for sharing with us ❤
Thanks so much for tuning in! ☺️

Oh that’s a good one! Long as it works then that’s great. 🙌🏾✨

Random, but you’re absolutely stunning to me! Great tips ❤
Thank you so much! 🥰🥰
Just ordered the garlic shampoo!!
Yay! Hope you like it!!
I’ll have to try the garlic shampoo. My flares get bad and need to change my shampoo. It’s horrible
It has helped! Hopefully yours will get better and clear up soon! 🙌🏾✨
What about the AS I AM Product line that you were using a few years back..did that stop working for you?
It worked well for the time, then I switched it up and went for Selsun blue because I felt I needed something more potent.
@SayAlejandra Ok. Thanks for replying..was considering buying, but I definitely need a strong product since my condition is pretty severe .

Hi do you still use this products? Or there is a new updated product
It’s all updated, I’ll do a video mentioning that soon enough!
Why you not use your lovely leather strap watch anymore?😔
