Painting of Chassis Parts

[Builder's view] Tamiya 1/24 Subaru Impreza WRC '98 Monte-Carlo is in progress.
I'll be painting around the chassis and doing the weathering as I assemble the parts step by step. The masking for c
olor separation is difficult and tedious, but if I cut the tape into smaller pieces and apply them, it will eventually get d
one.

Hi Kenji, I like how the weathering turned out on the exhaust. The electrical switch is a surprise. I don't remember if you did any prep for the headlights, so I look forward to its purpose. The silver undercarriage looks like it was a real pain to mask, but as always, it looks flawless.Thank you for sharing Kenji, and have a great weekend.

お疲れ様です。
汚しのテクスチャーですね。
グラベルを走るクルマですから、もっと派手に汚しや石跳ね傷とか付けても良いのかもしれませんが…
まぁそこは模型ですから、映えと雰囲気で良いのではないかと思います。
そして、電飾加工ですね。照明類が多いラリー車は電飾すると映えますよね。
こういった加工の際に悩むのが電源の仕込みですね。
電池は手軽なのですが、占有容積と忘れて放置した時の液漏れがイヤなので、自分はほぼACアダプタでの外部供給にしてしまいます。
今回のKenjiさんの選択が楽しみです😊
