    Hi there, great vlog. Ive not done that side of Turkey, as a single 53 year old man where would you recommend? Ovacik, Fethiye, Olu Deniz or Callis? I dont mind a bar with some chilled music, but dont like loud etc. What would you recommend, I was thinking of Callis.

      Hi, thanks for your comment, I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Any of the places you mention would be pretty good, but çalis is definitely a good compromise of beach/bars/general life. Close to Fethiye too, if you fancy a trip into town 😁

    Hi Andrew great vlog. We're staying in villa deniz. Thinking of hiring a car from airport. Is it a straight forward route to Ovacik?

    • @andyc882
      @andyc882  4 месяца назад

      Hi Jane, thanks! I assume you’re flying in to Dalaman? If so it’s fairly straightforward, about 1.5 hours. Mostly major roads and a toll through the Gocek tunnel.

      @@andyc882 Thank you so much for your reply. As we won't reach Dalaman till 8pm I think we'll opt for a taxi and hire a car while we're there. Thanks again Andy 👍

      Hi! Glad you liked the video, not sure if it was an autocorrect from you, or me mumbling again, but think you are asking about the dolmuş? They are the small minibuses that run locally.

      Hi Neil, it’s down the hill a little in the valley if you search on narli bahçe you’ll find it on Google. Cannot recommend it enough!

    Is it easy to get around ovacik?

    • @andyc882
      @andyc882  Год назад

      Hi Laura, if you’re reasonably fit you’ll be fine - Ovacik is a bit hilly in places but nothing too strenuous and you can walk to most of it without issues. There are regular dolmus on the main roads too. Hope this helps!

      @andyc882 thank you Andrew 😃 we are staying at celay hotel so unsure how hilly? Also taking my mum so hopefully not too much for her as she is getting older now x

    Hi andrew! I dont suppose you could recommend a way of using my phone without paying a small fortune? X

    • @andyc882
      @andyc882  Год назад

      Hi Laura, if phone supports virtual SIMs then I thoroughly recommend ai the Airalo app. You can download it before you go, buy whatever data you need pretty cheaply and then activate when you get in country.
