Oh, a friend and I tinted them using plastic safe dye and fairly warm water. First we had to remove the plastic from the beds and carriages. In the videos you will see Blue and burgundy colored bits. This was done so I could take my machines out o my home and not get mixed with others at knit in workshops. But it also helps here at home when I fix other peoples machines.
Some day I will go to knit birds eye and it will work perfectly. I did not have any issues when I knit it with a Singer machine - but man am I cursed with the brother.
I found it in a random blog post that was linked in a comment set in a facebook group. I will go find it and I will put it in both a reply here, as well as the video description.
Very interesting. I have never tried jacquard. You are very clear on instructions thank you!
I love the interesting colors of your knitting machines and carriages. Can you share more information?

Thankyou so much been machine knitting since the 60s always wanted to try this must have a go thanks again
Hi I’m a little confused with this jacquard how do I know which patterns I can use and is it always 2 rows then change the colour
in your manual is a chart - the answer is all patterns. I would not do lace patterns personally, I doubt they would look good in 2 color slip.
I have never noticed the dashes! Just be carful to have an even number of needles in work when doing birds-eye. 😀 That has worked for me.

Thank you for a great video 😊. Where can I get the ribber set up sheet that you showed at the beginning of the video for jacquard xxx
