Mr. Mario, another awesome job rocking! I see you got your hands on another Jay Turser. I recently got my purple sunburst Jay Turser out of layaway from the pawn shop. It's a rock machine and the serpent inlay on the fret board is awesome. I think it's an early version of the serpent guitar.
I just bought one. I prefer a clean sound for determining whether the guitar has a decent tone or not, and honestly I don't know if any upgrades were done to the electronics, but I get a true vintage sound and like yours, my strings mount to the bridge setup and don't go through the body.
Thanks for your technical comment, I think the quality of that guitar was way above my expectation. I sold that guitar but I remember the joy I had playing it. Please if not yet subscribe for more guitar playing and musical stories.
From my point of vue after having played Squier, Epiphone,. The Jay Turser vintage series stratocaster once there well adjusted are really good for the price, even if there old get them set up properly and you will have an excellent guitar. See my Jay Turser playlist and don't miss my 12 bar blues unforgettable lesson's learn. Please subscribe for more guitar stuff... bye
