2. Solar storms cannot kill you, they can only shut the power down.
3. One happened in Canada in the 1990s. It only lasted 12 hours and everyone was fine.
4. This will only have a 0.12 percent chance to happen.

For those scared, do not worry. While this event is gauranteed to happened, it is very unlikely to cause power outages. Infact, its a 0.12% chance to happen. So do not worry about the world being pitch black or anything like that. Stay safe

The dude in this video made it scarier than it is made out to be. Yes the sun is getting more sunspots, so solar flares are to be expected, but the chances of such a great solarflare hitting is incredibly low. You have more of a chance of being killed by a vending machine than such a dangerous solar flare. Note, we may be hit by one, but probably not the one this guy is talking about.

For those who don’t understand, The Solar Storm on July, 5, 2025 would only have a 0.12% chance of happening so don’t be too scared but if it does happen, NASA had already sent out a warning to be prepared if it does happen. The video makes it so much more dramatic but it’s partially correct. If the storm gets strong enough, most of earths power will go out but it would only last a month or two. Maybe even a few weeks but since the video said it was this year, people might’ve gotten scared, but this Solar Storm will likely happen only in 2025. You are welcome if this helped!😊
Edit: Just so you know, I forgot to add that these Solar Storms only happen every 11 years and get slightly stronger every time but sometimes it can stay the same or get lighter. This Storm will not kill anyone and just cuts off power, and internet. If you are in the right place and lucky enough, you could see the Northern lights in Far South Hawaii!
