Well nobody is going to be able to recreate Jon olivas voice and vocal range. Kayla did a good job but I really think Caleb Johnson could do this even better: His vocal range is like Jon Oliva……just look him up singing a cover of Aerosmith “dream on”
@@zwicksflicks For me, technically it's not very different (the missing "forever is a long time.." and jumping straight to big finale/chorus is a major change) from original, even Chris is doing little Criss O. leads during verses.. The thing is, they keep overdoing it..Jon and Zak sang it more emotional, without even shouting. But hey, it's TSO and it's what they do :)
I got to see Jon perform this at ProgPower once and it was magical.

Just not into it. Was never meant to be sung this way bold and boisterous versus Jon serene and mysterious. Just my opinion
