Hi @blessing786, in order to move the seats backwards or to the front, you simply need to pull the handle underneath the seat. The anchor points for the bench need to be up front and on the same level in order to install the bench, just like it was explained in the video. 🙂 Did this cover your question?

Seats come out easily.,
Putting back in is a nightmare even when aligning all the correct points on the rails - I had to drive it back to dealers for them to do it and they tried and said leave it with us for a whole day after struggling with two people.....

I can confirm that removing and installing these seats is an absolute nightmare. Unbelievably bad design unfortunately. Such a shame because apart from that its a beautiful machine
YEAH, UNLESS YOU TRIED, YOU WOULD THINK IT'S A EASY JOB AS THE VIDEO SHOWED.
In case of a single set of 3 seats there is only one handle to use, when I pull out to the up, I see that the back of the ground ties opening but the seat still lock (impossible to toggle)
Yes at 4 adults we can remove it but what it takes to be strong to succeed

i removed it and past 3 hours trying to put them back ffs i gave up n will try again tomorrow morning, wish i had read this comments b4 removing

Do you know where you can purchase a single seat for a Vito ?
For the Vito single seats are available in combination with the 3seater-sleeping bench. Every authorized Mercedes-Benz Van dealer is able to provide you with single seats. But please pay attention to the seat cover only one fabric color is available.

The video doesn't show refitting the bench... bet they struggled too much! Tip - Slide the whole row back in the rails firstly to make more space for the seats to tilt fully.
I came across this video as I took out the seats last night of my brand new V Class AMG Line and am having a nightmare refitting and have vowed not to remove again - Very Bad design
That's very unfortunate to read. We'd suggest to get in contact with your local Mercedes-Benz dealership for some advice on how to put the seats in and out as easy as possible.
As the owner of a Metris in the USA I can say the engineer and focus groups that designed the seat specifications should be fired. It is almost criminal to sell a minivan with seat that don’t even fold. MB you should be ashamed. If I had the option to do again I would have bought something more user friendly. And I am a die hard MB fan. The last 4 vehicles I owned have been Mercedes.
Big name but impractical to change the seat is better hyundai starex and vellfire mercedes should learn more how to make it easier for the owner to change to more practical at least give a note in the position that can be changed
That is the worst System I‘ve ever had. The middle row is to near to the Front row, so it‘s almost impossible to get the Seat back in. I will Never take it out again

@@MercedesBenzVans no i have not, but i will. please tell me: why would you install such a design for moving/removing the seats instead of any other design? there are obviously ways to make it much more easy. you can look at any other minivan for examples.
also: did you even try this system before putting the car on the market?

the question is: why that design? why not install something that makes the seats movable? like in any other car of that class. it is rediculous and i think Mercedes-Benz should be ashamed for creating such a monstrosity.
