Re: doubDiff, "delta" means difference, so there is 2 things that this might do, either it doubles any bonus/malus applied to pips of the given sides, or it doubles the pip difference between the given sides (e.g. top is 2, bot is 1, then the delta is also 1, so doubDiff would make top into 3 and bot into 0? no idea tbh) Writing this at 13:14, so dunno if it's elucidated later (will be fun to see if I was right) Ok, so ti doubles the bonus, interestingly... actually makes sense, since the delta is larger value minus the lower one, so it only sees the difference when the changed value is larger (?)
I heard about Slice n Dice in glowing terms years ago and I still see random bits of content popping up for it now and then. I really ought to have tried this game already...
People have been playing Shogun Showdown (that new samurai game that came out), and It's kinda made me appreciate Slice and Dice more. That game is so much harder to parse imo, the visual style of slice and dice and the way it intuitively portrays info (and allows for undoing mistakes) makes it honestly so good. No hate on the game, it's just much harder to watch as a viewer.
Honestly slice leaning into the undo mechanic is amazing. It means I can do much harder runs than I otherwise would because I don't often want to calculate beforehand
Ohhhh! So that's why I am seeing Slice content in my feed! I have been loving Shogun Showdown for a couple days, and never played slice and dice, but it's always been in my radar and I have heard many people say its an amazing game in my favorite genre so I have no excuses. Awesome that these communities are crossing over, and I am super stoked both that Slice is still going strong and that Shogun Showdown is getting attention at the moment
@@conman-sr5md Yep, plus think of how many unintuitive interactions there are in Slice and Dice cuz of the numerous keywords. Basically circumvents any feel bad moments.
This game is amazing, even after like a year of playing there's brand new combos to discover.
