I think you need to add some guard rails or something to keep the villagers off the tracks. All that dying isn't good for their overall happiness. Also try to get a gravekeeper for the town. You might be able to respawn the dead if you collect their graves.
if you install Valkyrien Skies: Eureka you can make that starter ship into an actual moving boat, i tested it with the pack and it works
If it were to have a set path it can also be done with Create.
@@YoYoK3nny Vakyrien skies is a bit bugged right now. It makes funnels and chutes from Create quite broken.
there are waypoints in minecolonies mod, you can use them to direct path. I mean it used to have on

The base Minecolonies style (the original one) does have schematics for "waypoints". I don't know if all colonists recognize them though. I've only seen guards recognize the waypoints during their patrols.. Some styles also have roads. Though I'm not sure if those have special coding that makes colonists more likely to use them or if they're just decorative.
There's no special coding when making roads as a decoration for a style, they just have waypoints included.
There are however some vanilla blocks that will get recognised as a road (path blocks and gravel) since they are commonly used as paths in vanilla villages (so that existing infrastructure will be used if a player takes over a village when they start their colony)
Since gravel is used under the train tracks, the colonists think it is a path for them to use (hence why they will continue to get run over by trains)
I'm not enitrely sure, but there might be a config whitelist/blacklist for valid path blocks.

Sbeev - to stop the colonists or villagers from walking on tracks when you're trying to drive a train; you REALLY should be fencing the tracks off from where they can walk.
It's called a diamond crossover turnout into a loop. And the signal sections are called blocks.
I think that the bridge over the track needs full blocks no matter what
have you thought about making your own town building designs with a more 1800s era look than the current medieval ones?
I would definitely like to do that however most of the town is from Minecolonies and there isn't a style that I've found that looks super close to 1800s yet (medieval being the closest). If there is a stylepack that adds 1800-1900s designs I'll use that but otherwise it'll be medieval or I'll make my own style pack lol

@@Sbeev there's a steampunk option that you can grab from stylecolonies, but it's difficult enough to have a book in the supply camp that says it's super difficult
My dream compatibility between Create and Minecolonies would be the citizens actually using train routes we've set up. (This would allow workers to live further away from their job, but cut down on travel time, and safety risk)
PROTIP FOR VILLAGER SAFETY!
If you don't want to run the risk of killing them while driving the train or having them be automatic, since they won't stop at that point, go into your mod settings and find just the regular Create mod.
Then go into whatever isn't client or worldgen settings and look for "trains". After that you can scroll to the bottom and make it so trains don't deal damage. This will prevent entities from being slaughtered if a train runs into them. That, or just put up a fence.

Add catwalk railings on the sides of the track so the colonists will hopefully realise they are not intended to go on the tracks

you need to make a wrench, it allows you to pick up any create blocks with a single click, without worrying about durability on a tool or mining speed. it also allows you to pick up minecart contraptions and store them in your inventory (which would have made that mob grinder much easier to build lol) and allows you to move trains from one rail to another, rotate them, and rerail them when they crash. im honestly surprised that you don't already have one, since its usually one of the first things that players make when playing with the create mod
also, you should make a quantifying key for your storage drawers, it shows you the number of items in your drawers at a glance, its very useful

Unassembled trains (if i remember correct) actually cause more lag because the bogeys are multiple entities as opposed to a couple entities
I really wanna try this modpack! I'm not sure how well I can do the create component, but I love the idea of the trains moving things two and from, the colonist making stuff, etc.
to stop the train running over people you might want to limit its max speed while in the town, just put stations at the entrance and exit and put it so the train goes past them on the schedule but doesn't stop and after that on the schedule you can change the speed
the factory must grow

If you unload the train into a postbox, your couriers will automatically load the warehouse so you don’t have to rebuild this when you upgrade your warehouse.
you could name youre new freight train something like:
The Cargo Runner (Since it runs over people)
The Flying Cat (Since Garfield is Driving it)
The E'Steamd Cargo (Play on words sounds like Esteemd Cargo)

if you want some small resident buildings, may i suggest 'grachtenpanden', its and mideval oak style residents
incase your wondering, the word 'grachtenpanden' is dutch, basicly being homes next to man-made rivers
they are quite thin and look nice next to the river

Im curious how you over came the create schematics not working with the combined framed slabs. I made my own pack while waiting for yours to release and I ran into a problem while the cannon built my house. The issue was it refused to place to conjoined slabs together as it recognized them both as a complete block instead of two separate ones combined. Of course thats the issue when there is no block of 2 slabs together, so the cannon would just halt and I'd have to manually fill it in and restart the cannon

For the freight cars, you should use toolboxes instead of the vaults. It filters items way better.

I’m binging watching through this series right now, so maybe you already found it, but in the Sawmill episode, you asked if there was a way to get your Optifine cape for forge, and there’s a mod simply called the “Capes” mod, which is for forge and fabric. Its fabric version is updated to 1.20.6, but its forge version is only updated to 1.20.2, as I’m not sure what version you play on. But it is there nonetheless!
