ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.

Almost anything can be a "trigger' for a persons ASMR everybody is different, you just have to find yours.
As with all my video, my intentions is always to provide you a little home away from home, where you can kick back relax and always find a new and unique experience as i guide you with sights & sound to a relaxing location where my objective is to let you feel gentle waves of relaxation & ASMR until you close your eye to fall into a peaceful sleep.

When I was a kid I used to love walking along the side of the roads or sidewalks where the ice had frozen just enough that it made the best sound when stepped on. Even just thinking of the noise makes me relaxed!

This really relaxes me. All of his videos. It's amazing how he can turn something small like that, into relaxing sounds like this.
Nothing like watching an ASMR video and trying to sleep while having loud, obnoxious RUclips ads interrupting every 5 to 10 minutes.
I would always tell ppl I found annoying noises to be really soothing to me and would make me feel all relaxed and they all think im weird. Its so hard to explain to ppl. Glad other ppl understand.
I hate when people put up stupid comments everything he does in his videos is GREAT!!! the first bag was the best for me and i love the fact that he puts the objects up to his ear and has that sleepy look it makes it much better and makes me get even more sleepy the fact that he is so into it makes his videos much more interesting love your videos your the BEST!!!! nothing bad at all that i would have to say about you only one thing that first bag you started with i wish you would have took more time with lol

I have never listened to an ASMR video without speaking as I enjoy personal attention and I tend to get distracted with just sounds... I just let this play in the background as I was writing some reports... so, so good! You capture subtle sounds impressively!

Dmitri! You've been going too soft on the Silver soap lately man. The light light crinkle sound it gives off isn't really doing justice for what it's capabilities are. I used to get far more tingles before in your earlier videos when you kinda just went all out on the silver soap! Please bring that back with some whispers!
I feel exactly the same about this, the silver soap is not getting much crinkle action these days which is sad cos I get the best tingles from it. I'm sure he will bring it back soon to it's usual intensity....*fingers crossed*

The first thing that came into my mind when he first looked at the objects he was about to use at the beginning was the silver soap because of the crinkle sound.

So? I love music, lots of deaf/hoh people listen to music, the beat is nice, putting my headphones in makes it so people WONT talk to me in public which avoids awkward encounters, and if you actually looked at the comments I leave on music videos, you'd understand even more

+D awn You're not the only one! I'm not completely deaf (mild-moderate in right and severe in left), though I can't hear most crinkly things or light brushing or scratching sounds, it's still relaxing. :)

From 17:50 on wards it is just CRINKLE HEAVEN. That pot pourri followed by loom bands then the celefane. All topped off by slow and deliberate hand and finger movements had my eyes and brain in a coma. Sensational. Lost count of the number of times I have watched this video. 2 thumbs up Dmitri.

Idea, a video were you enjoy the texture of objects. Feeling them and rubbing on them as they make natural noises. I know it may seem awkward, but I think seeing someone actual enjoy the feeling of an object will cause relaxing triggers. Weather it's rubbing it on your face or along your shoulder. Just feeling the texture as it makes natural sounds.

That's funny because as a kid I would also enjoy playing with a very very small Boba Fett figurine my brother had. I always had something for masked characters. Never knew why though.

Please can you do a combo of silver soap and hand movements, visual and sound combo, or maybe 2 holagrams of you doing hand movments/reiki and silver soap, theam could be spa because of soap and reiki, if not just reiki with silver soap in background to skip the need for holagram editing, thanks dmitri, your asmr vids are the best.

Good sound. I watch your video with meditation music. Appear parallel emotions. Quite different. More saturated. The main thing is to balance the sounds. The rest will make up the mind.

Can you induce asmr to yourself? Or do you hold the items up to your ear just to listen? Im curious!
I've been able to induce the sensation as far back as I can remember. I take a deep breath, then let it out with some diaphragm force while flexing my core. When my lungs are nearly empty, I pull my shoulders down and use my neck muscles to pull my spine as straight as possible, and I usually give a little twist to the neck at the end, that's when it triggers - like someone pouring water down the back of my skull and neck and upper back. I'd be interested to know if anyone else out there uses the same technique.
