    Hi Oliver. Naturally the female "holds" the brood for 3.5-4 weeks. During that period of time, the female barely eats & get weakened. I usually strip the female after 9-10 days to prevent her from holding full term. It's important to understand that in the wild, mouthbrooding females can hide & will not suffer harassment like females in a group settled in an standard aquarium.

    Great videos...what a fantastic business you have...love it. Was hoping you can share some expertise....I have Tropheus Sunspots, Moorii and Dubosi's that are now 1.5 to 2.5 inches long. When would I have to start to be diligent about identifying females that have larvae in their mouths? None of the Tropheus have lost their junivelle patterns yet...a couple bigger ones are starting to morph into the single stripe of color.
    Thanks

    Hi sir
    How many days it took to growth of frys about 2inches
    And how to have fryes quick grouth in short period of time?
    Thanks if you can reply earlier

    • @BemazalDagimPISCES
      @BemazalDagimPISCES  5 лет назад +1

      Hi, thank you for your question. Tropheus growth rate until fry reaches 6-7 cm is approx. 1 cm a month. You can not increase growing rate by using the recommended natural way, but make sure not to decrease the growing rate (small tank,overcrowded, low quality food etc.). I hope it helps :)

      Thank you for your reply, what food will be given to them, is there any home made food or recipes, or any best food from market you can recommend,? Also is tank size and frequent water change mattress for growth?
      Glad if you reply earlier
      Thanks

      +bofarrah Hi bofarrah.
      Sorry to hear abot your loses.
      You should keep Tropheus at 24-26 degrees Celsius. pH level should be 7.6-8.5. Diet consist on vegetrian food only, I recommened Sera granugreen pelets.
      I hope it helps a bit ;)
