very interesting. social exchange can be used to describe reality in political interaction, for example elections. preferences about candidates and parties as a group can be predicted through the degree of social demand based on non-linear rewards or punishments. just like the economic principle that high demand (candidates) can reduce party costs to obtain rewards, or conversely incur losses and loses if demand is low. this is just my assumption. by the way, who are the figures who can provide theoretical inspiration in these assumptions? thanks.

This is such a pointless and obvious theory to have to memorize the name of. That's something I've noticed. We waste time memorizing names of uninsightful ideas and people instead of learning information relevant to becoming effective doctors.

My thoughts exactly. People do things that benefit them.... yep.

sociology is basic common sense shit that have theory names added onto them. Joke of a "science".

Welcome to the field of psychology and sociology. Literally just putting vocab terms to common sense ideas or human tendencies. I think some are valuable but most are excessive.

This may be the case in other disciplines. But Rational choice Theory is extremely complex and useful in economics, this combined with behavioral economics. Furthermore rational choice theory is the ultimate normative theory.

I am jealous of the way she teaches. Whenever I tutor, I'm always fumbling my words everywhere; but, then again, I tutor spontaneously (i.e. having no prepared notes, etc.)
