Are these agendas that are only editable by the teacher? If so how can students use Canvas as an agenda where they are adding in assignments, projects, etc? Thanks for the great video!
@@user-wg6fe5uj8r the ones I featured in this video, yes! I’m sure if you want students to have their own agenda, you could provide one via Canvas assignment set for “No Grade.”
Well, thanks! I think the answer depends on what format you are using. For the HTML agendas duplicating a page for each week could be beneficial. For the Google Slides and Canva, maybe not sine you can easily update the Slides without having to update Canvas. It really is ultimately up to you and what you prefer in the end!
This is so fun! I've used your other Tab directions and things turned out great! I do have a question, the Tabs seem to lose some of their formatting when viewed on a phone. Do you have any recommendations?
Most formatting on the phone is going to be different when comparing it to the computer sadly. One tip would be to use percentages (%) instead of pixels (px) for the dimensions of the page elements. This way when the page is squished down to the dimensions on the phone, the percentages will attempt to mimic the appearance/formatting on the computer. I hope this helps and makes sense!
The Canvas Calendar is a great tool for students! The Google and Canvas Calendar can even sync with each other, which is another great feature! The agendas are just a really nice added element for students to view within their individual courses.
Hey! Thanks for your question. It depends on the type of Agenda you decide to implement. If you are using the HTML-coded one, most likely YES, you would have to update or re-sync to the live courses. If you used a Google Slide or Canva Slide, then only these slides would need updating. I hope that makes sense! Please let me know if it doesn't 😂
I don't have a specific video, but if you watch this older one, it shows the basics of HTML fonts for tabs, but it's essentially the same for regular text. ruclips.net/video/TEk1NIbOUb4/видео.html Let me know if this helps, if you are confused, I will create a new video that is specific to this topic!
This process is not working for me. I don't know if it is me or my school not allowing me to work with the html but it remains in code when I save the information.
That is interesting! It might be because there is potentially an error written within the code somewhere. If you would like to message me screenshots at canvasqueen2020@gmail.com, I can take a look and see what's going on!
The hyperlinks do not work when it’s embedded, any workaround? According to Canva it only works when downloaded as a pdf.
Oh no! So you are staying the embedded code in Canvas is not working within Canvas?

Does each tab become a page?
Great question! Each Tab essentially becomes a section of one page. Thanks!
Thank you
You are welcome :)
Hello. This was amazing! I have one question. Would you make a different page for each week?

How did you get the tabs in canva?
I created multiple tab shapes in the slide deck and placed them at the top. Then I just added a text box over them. Does that make sense?
What are your thoughts on the Canvas Calendar? I think your Student Agendas might work better.
The Canvas Calendar is a great tool for students! The Google and Canvas Calendar can even sync with each other, which is another great feature! The agendas are just a really nice added element for students to view within their individual courses.
How does this work with Canvas Blueprint? Would I need to update the blue print every time I change the agenda?

Hi, what size od the slide do you use to create the agendas? TY
Just the standard 16:9 slides.
Hello Canvas Queen, how do you change the font and font size using the HTML code?

I apologize. I just read this. I did not get a notification you responded. I will go and do it against so you can see what's going on. Thank you.
