I don't know but I suggest you look at the videos here RUclips about doing the self test mode or resetting the roomba. It looks like the battery is charged, it just seems to be moving around in reverse and I would think just needs to be reset or something? like rebooting a computer to fix a problem. I just got our roomba discovery that I bought in 2005, used it for a few months and then it sat. When I tried to use it again just over the warranty period it didn't work. Roomba support said my not using it and keeping the battery charged caused it to break and the options to replace it were expensive so it sat in the box until a few weeks ago. I bought a couple new batteries off Ebay and an aftermarket charger off Amazon and now the machine works great and I use it all the time. With mine the light on the charger and base kept flashing which indicates that there is some problem with the charger? Roomba wouldn't help me when I called recently, only offered me a discount on a new Roomba, it was not that great of a deal. They said they coudn't help with repair. Im glad I found the solution watching You tube videos others made. I got the aftermarket charger and now just have to charge the batteries with that and the roomba works great. Very convenient. One just has to know the limits of what the Roomba discovery can do and they have to keep up with emptying the bin and maintaining it to keep it working right. Its not for people who can't take time to maintain it so really even though Roomba makes keeping floors clean easier, it has to be maintained. I hear the newer models are more improved. When this old one finally breaks I would consider buying a new model Roomba.
i have exact problem i watched videos the problem is dirt i one wheel that does not spin much ,is the sensor ,you have to open the wheel and get the lint out of it . i did not want to open it up so i got my garden gas blower and said here is johnny and blew 160 miles an hour wind into its blowhole .nope it did not fix the problem you can try cant hurt the machine ,so i have to open up this damn puzzle and put it back again not fun.

its a bumper problem, call irobot master and he repair it for 15 pounds
it gave a error code 4 witch means the side wheel is stalled look for anything stoping it from spinning and make sure you can turn it.
its probably the belt
