I don't know that many kanji but I recognized the name, have a single or two and I remember back in 1997 or 1999 when I was in Tokyo I saw part of a live show on TV while staying at Kimi Ryokan. I already knew the name by then so I started watching when I saw it and remember her getting emotional at one point due to the crowd's reaction and actually tearing up. That stuck with me to this day. If I understood correctly it was their loving support that made her cry, which is just wonderful if you ask me :)

I don't know that many kanji but I recognized the name, have a single or two and I remember back in 1997 or 1999 when I was in Tokyo I saw part of a live show on TV while staying at Kimi Ryokan. I already knew the name by then so I started watching when I saw it and remember her getting emotional at one point due to the crowd's reaction and actually tearing up. That stuck with me to this day. If I understood correctly it was their loving support that made her cry, which is just wonderful if you ask me :)
