I’m surprised that you didn’t use your umbrella much. Mine worked great, lashed to one of my backpack straps… for SHADE. Felt like hiking in weather that was 10 degrees cooler. Just a thought for the future!
Yeah I can go into more detail on it in another video. Basically you get a water bladder that connects to it and squeeze water through it to filter. Pretty simple and effective !
but I don't see the point of the whole thing - is it to make it filter faster under pressure - squeeze the bladder and force it through? Just don't ge what you are using it for but I always like to learn about new hacks! Thanks @@Theadventuresofcrigas
@@GottaFly yeah with the sawyer squeeze and most portable filters you usually squeeze water through and it filters most of the bad stuff out. Using it to filter river water and not get sick while I hike!
@@GottaFly it’s just how you get the water through. I think they made it that way so you can get a stream of water on the other end and fill up bottles easier. Not sure exactly why though I just know these filters are the most convenient and efficient way to filter. Not just sawyer other brands work too, but it is what I use.
Worlds greatest, hiking review, champ
Can you make a list of the gear and brand of items you used on the PCT. Thanks. Read your book as well, totally enjoyed your journey.
Thanks for the info. Very helpful. Be well. Happy Trails!

Yeah I did that I just didn’t like how it bounced around. Used it plenty for the shade though!
can you explain how that water flow straw thing works - seems like might be good idea.

Spoon, plastic, metal, wood? Home Crigas looks a lot different than hiking Crigas! 🙂
That was great! Thanks dude.
Most real gear review!
