I love the juxtaposition of this song. He says that he can’t recall her scent, yet he perfectly still remembers that it as jasmine and lily. The way he says that he’s forgotten about her eyes, yet he still remembers that they were green, and they had power to you know, make F. Scots Fitzgerald cry. Specially when he says that he’s sleeping fine but he still dreams about her. This song isn’t really him not missing the girl completely. A part of him still does but he’s in denial.
