Guan Chong Berhad is a Malaysia-based cocoa processor largely involved in the manufacturing of cocoa-derived food ingredients (cocoa mass, cocoa butter, cocoa cake & cocoa powder). A result of this is the large amounts of cocoa shell waste that they generate from their processes. They needed a solution!
When Bühler and Vyncke formed a strategic partnership to offer integrated solutions with the overall goal of reducing carbon emissions, Guan Chong knew they had found the way forward with partners of the same vision.
