Can I buy your arms on Amazon Prime Day?
I've been using the ugreen 100w charger for awhile now. It's great being able to have some many things charge off of one charger. Though it's kinda disappointing that all cables are separate. I know that's common practice, but it adds cost if someone doesn't read the description of the product first. But they have reasonable prices on those too. So I can't complain. Might pick up the 140w variant.
The 140W one is on my list as well.
I’ve bought a ton of Ugreen stuff over the years and they’re so good. Best bang for buck accessories brand by far. I even bought their 100w and 45w nexode chargers twice because I keep a pair at home, one 100w brick for my work backpack and one I leave on my sling bag EDC. I also bring their 25000mAh power bank everywhere since I always bring my 13 Pro Max and iPad Mini 5G everywhere and it’s a beast with its dedicated 100w port. One can never have too much battery power :D
Exactly! That's the trouble with good stuff though right, you always want two of each 😂
And the good news is, Ugreen also do 3 pin UK plug compatible chargers and they are retractable. And prices are very reasonable. 4 port GaN only £30. Thanks for the heads up Patrick
Thanks for sharing! Dang, Europe needs to get into the retractable game.
I’m currently using the 45w one for my iPad Pro and iPhone. Best charger I’ve had tbh.
They're great 👌
Congrats on 100k Patrick! 👏👏👏 Well Deserved!
Thank you 🙏🏻
I have 100w Ugreen it's an amazing charger. Small, not too hot, costs the same or less on sales, GAN, has a handful of inputs and USB A.
thank you for this! UGREEN definitely has some good value chargers (I have a couple!) and I'm glad the next gen are GAN tech!
Same here!
Can't help clicking my fingers to that intro. awesome
Haha 🤌✨🎵
I got a Ugreen GaN charger 100W and this charger is all I needed. I used a cable that displays the output watts and this GaN charger is smart enough to output power needed by the device only. From MBP, to different sizes of android devices. But when I try to use it to my Windows laptop.. 100W is not enough since my Windows Laptop adapter is 135W. My MBP charger is rarely used now since I only use this GaN charger (UGreen) in almost all my devices :)
is it safe after a long used for booth macbook and phone?
@@hilmyalmagthani2654 For me yes, I am still using it now on my iPhone, my wife's huawei phone, and mbp 13. For my mbp 16, I am using the default charge since it is a lot faster. There are times when I forgot to disconnect this gan charger while working with extended monitor and my old mbp battery cycle and health is still normal.
I cant find the eu version for these on amazon can u give me a link for those please?
I have one myself also! Even if we have technologies to make Apollos at that time go to the moon with iPhone, I always wonder why the laptop chargers are still that big lol
And why they can't stick a few more ports in that massive brick 🤷♂️
I have Ugreen 30W PD GaN charger. Is it safe to charge my iPhone 14 Pro with this charger? will it effect my iPhone’s battery health?
My friend was saying i should only use Apple’s charger for my iPhone
Pls answer my question
Apple will always tell you to only use their chargers. I don't know many people that actually do this. I never have.
Will my apple cords work with the UGREEN chargers?
Sure!
I am looking to purchase one of these chargers but I have noticed Amazon also sells the PRO version of these chargers. What is the added benefit of the PRO variants?
Hey man! Did a video on those too: ruclips.net/video/Si3G1E5BKWI/видео.htmlsi=rMaAWwbu2A55bbTI
Just bought it off your recommendation with just 4 minutes in the video haha
😅🙏🏻
Just got a Ugreen 35W with 1 USB-C output and 1 USB-A output (CD350), but it's not charging the Mac M1 I use on the USB-C output. What could be the problem?
The Mac shows that the charger is connected, but it doesn't actually charge. I tested 3 100W USB-C cables. Does it not support the MacBook M1?
Macbook pro M1 need 61W charger, and Mac Air M1 need 45W charger and You use 35W,
It's not a problem with the cable, but you need higher power Charger
Hopefully that answers your question
Where can you buy the tech pouch mentioned in this video?
Does the 100w charger come with a charging cable?
Did you also check how much power it draws when you have nothing connected to it? RUclipsr TechMagnet tested it and his pulled 7W with nothing connected to it (displayed it on a power tester, around four and a half minutes into his video). But others state that it doesn't use anything when they measure it.
I haven’t tested that , thanks for the tip !
@@PatrickRambles There seems to be some sample variety with these. I tested mine and it draws around 0,5 W with nothing connected. On Discord was saw some people posting several results as well. Several clean 0 W measurements, but also some 2 and 5 W usage scores.
@@djoetma I wonder how other chargers score. I have honestly never considered measuring that.
@@PatrickRambles I haven't tested many, but I have some higher capacity PD-chargers here, from Anker (35W), Sony (30W), Huawei (90W). They all show 0 W on my tester. None of them are 100 W chargers though.
Is their cabble good enough to use?
Ugreen’s? Yeah they’re good cables in my experience.
can buy from aliexpress?
What one of them is best to buy for air m2, can you tell? In the EU version, compact, i dont need more than 2 ucb-c, but maybe for travel (in eu)
I think 65watt is the max charging capacity for the air. Everything above that is overkill. Of course if you plan to charge multiple devices at once, more is better. You can't overcharge a MacBook
What happened to the Xfanic docing station you tested?
What about it?
@@PatrickRambles Do you still use it?
@rikkechemnitz6264 no. I gave it away to a family member. I'm currently using several hubs, also including an Anker TB hub and the Caldigit TS4.
I love your videos, but this one look like an ad. It iwas a weird one coming from you. I am sure you have your reasons, I can't judge you. Keep pushing 👍
Hey thanks. This was a fully sponsored video, as indicated. I totally understand that this isn't for everyone. We collaborate with brands from time to time because we need to keep the lights on at the studio :). Rest assured, I don't promote brands I don't genuinely like and use.
Amazing that Apple wants to convince people they are for the environment…
Appe talk about saving the environment and then does stuff like this
8 min video 3 min of it is introduction. Just get to the point man. we all know what charger is
I have a tip for you : fast forward. You're welcome.
[00:00] I completely agree with you about Apple's charging situation. It can be frustrating how they require different chargers for each device and charge a premium for them. I've been looking for alternatives as well, and it's great that you've partnered with Ugreen to showcase some options.
[00:14] Ugreen seems to have some promising alternatives to Apple chargers, and it's good to know that they are more affordable. I'm all for saving some money while still getting quality products.
[01:01] It's impressive that Ugreen's chargers are not only smaller but also offer more ports than Apple's chargers. This makes them more versatile and convenient for travelers like us.
[03:47] The fact that you can use a single 100W Ugreen charger for all your Apple devices while traveling is a game-changer. It simplifies things a lot, especially when compared to lugging around multiple Apple chargers.
[07:16] Thanks for sharing this lineup, Patrick! I'll definitely consider Ugreen chargers as a cost-effective and efficient alternative to Apple's chargers. Your video was informative and helpful. Keep up the great work on your channel!
I love my UGREEN 100W USB C Charger, Nexode 4-Port GaN and notice it’s 40% off right now for prime day deals!
That's a beefy discount 😅
I am using the Nexode 45w charger, and i'm loving it!
It's at great solution, when i need at portable charger, witch can charge my different devices
does it make sense to get a 100W to home use, for 2 MacBooks pro (16' 2019 and 16' 2022), 2 iPhones and sometimes an iPad air? to save some space instead of having to many chargers?
I don't love Apple's tactics,
But I do love your muscles
David Adonis Velez 💪
Thank you!🙏 Exactly what I’ve been looking for!👍
Awesome!
For $5 to $10, I will stay with an apple product, it is a $3000 computer and I will not try to save a few buck a this point.
Great timing on this video, Rambler! I've got an excellent Satechi GaN 165W 4-port desktop charger, but need one for the road. I'm gonna go snag that 100W UGreen charger and the 7-in-1 Hub right now.
Nice! That 100W brick is legit 👌
Does It work with the 2013 Macbook pro
I actually ordered that dock + their 200W charger, I really needed some extra USB-C ports for charging various doodads at my desk.
+100 for using the word doodads! 😁
NEVER BUY ANOTHER CRAPPLE PRODUCT. ANDROID AND PC ARE BETTER
Aww. You feel better now?
Can I remove those awfull 2 pin plugs and replace them with a plug for the region of the world I am travelling in, like appl supplies. I use the same charging block with a different pin arrangement for wherever in the world I am. Works great!!!
Yep. It’s called a travel adapter and it works everywhere 🙌🌟
Do you know where to find that adapter in eu separately? Please tell , I need that (original apple or good)
Anker is my go to never lets me down
Anker is good too. There's a couple of solid brands I keep coming back to. Anker and Ugreen are definitely up there.
Is there a MagSafe cable alternative for the MacBook?
Hi there. Well, technically these are power bricks, you can use whatever usb A or C cable you want, that includes the magsafe cable.
Excellent video as always
Thank you Karl!
I am going to get the 100w for my iPhone 15 pro max, my m2 air and also a few other things like my GoPro. Especially for travel.
I use the Zendure passport III all in one 65W travel adapter. Ugreen products also look very interesting.
But if you also want adapter look at the Zendure :)
I own few ugreen chargers , cables and the usb hub. amazing quality and highly recommended.
I already don't buy Apple chargers 😆
Haha 😅
I just bought the other day the Anker alternative for the 110W one. I was debating between these 2 but couldn't find a deal for the Ugreen so went with Anker. Both are great
Agreed, I like Anker too. Both superb alternatives.
You should have linked the pouch, looking for one.
The price it's the same, tho
is this sponsored?
3:35 I'm sold
Thanks for the recommend. I immediately purchased the 100W charger, two USB C to Lightening Cables and a USB C to USB C cable and Ugreen's travel case on Amazon. Already very impressed!
Nice! Hope they serve you well :)
Thanks for the reviews Patrick, I've got that UGREEN 100W charger. I use it when I'm on the road so that I can leave my magsafe and other chargers at home.
Right on, that thing is legit 🙌
Great video Patrick and some interesting products. However my concern with Apple is that they could limit the use of USB-C cables and accessories that aren’t approved by Apple - potentially restricting charging or data transfer speed in the process. They are certainly not going to take the EU’s decision on universal USB-C connectors lightly, and there are already strong rumours that Apple WILL go the route of limiting use of non approved USB-C cables and possibly chargers with their products. The excellent chargers that appear in your video MAY not perform to their maximum potential therefore if an Apple approved cable is not used. Any thoughts?
Hi Daniel, thanks! Well, the rumor mill will never stop churning. The proof is in the pudding, as we say.
Can i use these chargers for ipad 9th gen ?
Will it affect the battery of ipad?
I use them with all my Apple products. Apple will tell you to only use their chargers for obvious reasons.
Great job, should recommend also a better charging cables (like the yellow spiral cables) that suits to all travel gadgets you reviewed..
more to come and peace ❤
Thanks!
is it safe to use over original apple adapters? in terms of battery health
Apple will tell you it's not. I've been using third party chargers all my life. Never had a problem.
I have had this 100W charger for a couple of months and it’s amazing. It can handle 4 devices no problem. Perfect for home and traveling!
Right? It's all I take with me most of my trips.
Great stuff, thanks for providing this! I just bought a Ugreen 12 in 1 docking station in prevision of getting a second monitor with my M1 2021 Macbook pro on my desk and be able to switch with my work lenovo laptop. (+ connect audio interface and external HDs). I am just a bit puzzled about how to power it since I could not find clear and quick info about that neither in the manual nor on Ugreen website . I want to have the 12 in 1 charge both laptops. Because of the mac it has to be a 100W. In all videos or reviews I saw it is always a 100W Nexode GaN. GaN prevents over heating, so hidden on a desktop cable box, GaN would be great. But Nexode? If i get it correctly, the Nexode lineup manages power allocation to several devices at once. Does that mean the previous series with several ports did not or not well? But if you just want 1 Usb C out to power the 12 in 1 a cheaper non-Nexode GaN would do the job?
The Nexode is their premium line with smarter power distribution. If you want to power two MacBooks , you’re going to need a lot of power , the Nexode 300W desk charger might be an option.
@@PatrickRamblesThank you, it becomes clearer! That would actually only be one laptop at once, either the Macbook Pro or the Lenovo. Then a nexode would allow to save the front port of the 12 in 1 to load a phone if file transfer is not needed with better power distribution mgmt.
its not actually half but 65.44% small...
🤓
Your videos are always entertaining to me! ❤
Thank you man 🙏🏻
This video was very helpful. Thanks.😊
Thanks Lisa!
Their good chargers Patrick but their not mfi certified wich makes me worry pluggin it onto a £1500 iphone
What makes you say they're not?
My friend bought one it doesn’t said mfi certified anywhere on the box and neither does their website. ?
@hamitozbek5868 says it on their cables and there's a blog post : blog.ugreen.com/mfi-certified/
Oh wow. Thanks Patrick didn’t see
@hamitozbek5868 yeah I had to really look for it too. Could be a bit clearer.
Will the 65 watt charger fast charge Apple Watches that are capable of fast charging?
The charger will but you need the fast charging cable for that.
@@PatrickRambles Roger that. So I have the cable that came with my ultra so I believe that’s a fast charging cable!!!
@@PatrickRamblespicked one up. For that price on Amazon, hard to beat.
I’ll never buy a charger that’s not genuinely from Apple not to mention how their AppleCare coverage gave me 2 35W blocks for free and four cords not as a replacement just as a free bonus with out even charging me an AppleCare+ fee
I think this video gives me a “ Charger” . I hope you’ll got my pun.
Thanks for the recommendation. I was looking for a good multi port traveling brick. I am going to pick up their 65w 4 port on Amazon for $36. It is a great deal. I am shying away from Anker chargers. They seem to die after 9 to 12 months. I have gone through three of them. I will give this brand a shot.
Thanks Steve! So far, I am super impressed by these. Before I started using these, I knew Ugreen from their cheap (but reliable) cables. It looks like they are trying to get into the mid to high end segment and so far so good.
You have the most American “European” accent I’ve ever heard.
Thanks?
