What's great about olympics is that you get to watch sports you will never watch otherwise. I know nothing about swimming, I never could imagine that butterfly is that quick, 1.60+ m/s on average. Almost as quick as the free style. Cool graphic with the yellow world record mark. Congrats to Marchand!

Well, the World Record in 4 X 100 mts medley before Phelps was 12 yrs old, from 1994 - 2006. Guess if that record was achieved only with pure training methods? This Olympic record is miles away from those two guys records.

@NotMelihstill way more, I’m 14 and I swim 10km a day and that’s not even that much, usually when we’re in the peak of training we swim up to 16km a day, 10 swims per week, 3 gym workouts. It really isn’t that impressive nowadays.

Leon Marchand has won the Gold medal in this race, what a lead he had too in this race so he swum well and that was food professionalism. A super win at the 2024 Olympics so you right now after the race he knows he is the champion,the winner and he is feeling good,happy and proud about this victory. Marchand trained hard and he had the fitness to swim a long race and this is the proof which proves he is very professional. A gold medal and and now that means he is winner at the 2024 Olympics Mens' 400 metres IM race and this is very special now I think because hard work is the harvest from a lot of inputs and good sportsmanship. A big medal and now you can expect Leon Marchand to do more and become a threat in this industry of professional Mens' swimming! Super work and now the French are proud and so happy too as Leon Marchand gives their country some sporting legacy and writes big history for France on home soil at the 2024 Olympics! Well don and as fans we enjoyed the race and Marchand was the best so he wins righfully which a great outcome!
