  • Senior Softball Pro Bob O’Brien shares some tips to help you create better bat speed to the Slow-pitch Softball Swing. He takes principles from the new age MLB swing and helps you convert them to your current swing. Learn to “Step away from the Hands” to create torque to the torso while coiling on the back leg to help you get the back hip through. Kinetic Energy, Sequencing, Muscling Up and Stretch Reflex are just a few of the terms you will learn.

    Thanks for this video.
One of the best explanations I've seen in RUclips.
This vid is a gold find.

You got a video with leg kick? Front leg stomps for me with leg kick. Slide step like you teach great for power, but bad for my timing. Need the leg kick but soft stride. Help!😢

You can keep the leg lift, it’s mostly used for timing. When we lift the front foot, the weight is all on the back foot, set the front foot down to initiate the rotation of the hips. Just stay back and you won’t “stomp” on the front foot.
