The depth of the puncture for adults should be less than 2.5 mm. That's basically the entire length of the lancet needle and it should be a quick and firm stab. Huwag ka kabahan. You can do it! :)
@@hellopo9109 To prevent formation of bubble inside the capillary tube, make sure that the capp tube is properly positioned in relation to the drop of blood. Do not allow the blood inside the capp tube to move away from the entry point para walang bubble and also space. But if meron talaga, you can actually remove the bubbles/spaces by using a gauze or cotton :)
Hi. Maybe the manner of puncturing the finger of the patient using the lancet is just superficial. You have to make sure that the entire needle of the lancet gets inside the patient’s finger to ensure that more blood will be collected.
