I have a Gemini Rising, and my Mercury is in Aquarius in the 9th house :) I’m not sure if this is connected, but I’ve always noticed that I’m a much more visual learner. That’s also the way I tend to prefer to explain things for people. I love communicating with others, and tend to find myself connecting to more and more information as I do this. And second, I’m good learning by doing. I can’t just learn from a textbook alone. I can’t only be lectured, that hasn’t worked for me in the past. Also, my Mercury is conjunct Uranus. And another thing to mention, I also tend to become very intuitive with my learning and knowing things. Like, I will learn something, the best and easiest way for me to do so is visual, but after I’ve learned something, I tend to forget their proper names (not always) and I just kind know intuitively. Yeah, i think i read somewhere that it's normal when you are on the first or latest degrees of the rising sign, for example i'm a gemini rising from the very first degrees and my whole chart is accommodated as i was a taurus rising (i mean; leo in the 4th/aries in the 12th/sagittarius in the 8th etc) and of course an aqua MC. But anyways, yeah is normal.

My Mercury is in Aquarius 9th House. I've lived in 9 countries. I can speak 4 languages or 4 1/2 as I can understand Serbo-Croatian but have an extremely limited vocabulary and a tenuous grasp on the grammar. So I am definitely into long distance travel and to the most unusual places. Who from NYC would choose to live in The Balkans of all places? Also I desire to travel to countries that most Westerners are apprehensive to visit. But it's precisely because these places are so alien and maligned by the West ie; Iran and Russia, that I'm curious and keen to travel and actually experience first hand rather than rely on second, third, and fourth hand accounts which I suspect are mostly biased propaganda. I have learnt so much through my travels. I simply cannot imagine my life as both and artist and intellectual without the 5 years in Austria. Yikes! I would be such a superficially cultured coca-cola intellectual had I not spent those years in Austria. Therefore Gemini Rising helps me to understand and speak foreign languages. Unfortunately, it also makes me lazy. I don't speak as well as I could and should simply because I lack the focus, combined that my thoughts travel at the speed of light which compels me to speak quickly before the thoughts vanish. So my language skills can suffer for it. I need to take the time to speak slowly. Anyway, another brilliant video Hannah. Nice one!
