In the current Meta, Fire Staffs and Taproot are used very often. Since the health bar increases, you can survive much longer in a fight. Fire Staffs have very high damage and don't need an off-hand for extra damage. I recommend Hunter Hood or Cultist Cowl - Cleric Robe, Feyscale Robe or Assassin Jacket - Royal Boots or Soldier Boots - Keeper Cape for Offense, Martlock Cape for Defense.
Fire staff + defenses boosts + plus damage boosts + speed boosts that gives damage boosts? You'll win almost everytime
