Great post! Nelson can play. I like the way he has made some Johnny Winter licks his own. Hope Nelson releases some early 70s Johnny Winter (remastered Still Alive and Well with outtakes and 73 live show would be awesome) if he gains control of the Winter catalog, pending lawsuit.

The drummer is pretty badass... He sounds pretty amazing... I thought they were all great players. To me, he (guitar) was kinda too loud & busy all over the vocals.
On March 12, 2024, Nelson's management, Bullseye Management, announced on Instagram that he had died from a heart attack, on March 10, while on the road touring.
Paul will be greatly missed.. only got to see him live once and we talked gear after the show… very nice guy. Pretty humble for a player with killer chops. Rest in peace 💔
