Dave Wattenberg is an amazing man. He found out that when my son came back from deployment and was going through customs, someone had stolen the Pro-Tech I had given him. Yes, it was declared and not a war trophy. Just before Christmas, my son received an engraved TR-3 with his name, rank and branch of service on the scale from Dave. They also make great knives!
Protech my favorite knife brand by far. I really want that Mordax, please make more.

I love me a good Strider auto. Hope this makes it to Europe with appropriate blade length so it is allowed to buy. Rockeyexeould be great, but too long and illegal over here 😢
I thought anything in the EU could not have a locking knife no matter the length?
All kind of OTF and Switchblade Knives, with any blade lenght is Legal in Croatia, Austria, France, Czech Republic, Slovakia..

@@GUNSnARMYRN the eu is not a single country. I am in Austria, no knife laws at all, can carry whatever you want , guns eqsy to buy as well. UK etc on the other hand.. no

As a New York State resident I appreciate the DLT approach where you simply have to check a box declaring that the [auto] knives are legal to own where I live. Out in the sticks of NYS no one cares.

Ummm… so what? They build reliable & well made knives that deploy with authority. I can spare a millisecond or two.
Have a few protechs. Last one was not as sharp as knives that were 1/4 of the cost. Sent it back for a better edge and was told it was sharp enough, with a pic of this boss guys hair. He decides the finish of the edge is good by shaving some arm hair? It wasn't sharp enough to slice paper as well as 90% of my knives, I can cut arm hair with any knife I buy, even $30 Amazon knifes. You want a good sharp USA knife, get a Hogue. Better value and better edge. I have 2 in the box malibus, let me know if you want one, I'll sell them for cost. Because the inferior blade finish and condescending customer service, (directly from the from the head guy) I won't spend my $ on pro-tech again.
