The answer to your Schnitzelquestion: Yes, the original Wiener Schnitzel is made of veal it's really expensive so in most restaurants you get the pork version. Sometimes you can choose between both of them. Next time you come to Vienna- make reservations at Figlmüller Restaurant! It's the most famous place for Schnitzel - but nearly impossible to get in without reservations!! Great vlog - glad you liked Vienna a lot!!!

We say ‚Grüß Gott’ in Austria. ‚Guten Tag‘ is not wrong but we just never say it. Only Germans use the latter expression

and to answer your question: yes, real Wiener Schnitzel uses veal. However, in many, if not most places they would use pork and sell it as a Wiener Schnitzel.
also: the building you showed in the beginning is the Hofburg. It houses the national library, but is also the seat of the Austrian President. (and sadly our government is not doing a better job than yours. they are also terrible in their own unique way. isn't that lovely...and very very sad :'D )

As an Austrian girl, who travels to Vienna quite frequently, I have to say that it's quite interesting to see our capital city through the eyes of a tourist. 😊 There are things that I don't even notice anymore, like the beautifully decorated buildings I pass by. Also, your pronounciations were hilarious! 😂 I get it though, German words can be quite difficult to pronounce. 😄
If you come back to Vienna, you should definitely check out "Haus des Meeres" (house of the sea) because they have koi fishes that you can stroke and little fishes that nibble at the skin of your hands. 😄 I think that you'd also enjoy "Schloss Belvedere", a historic building that consists of two palaces. It's beautiful. 😊 Glad you two enjoyed your stay!

OMG that roller coaster use to be in Felixstowe (Suffolk) 30+ years ago. It was called something like ‘crazy mouse’ it got taken down because one of the cars flew straight off the end of it. 😳😲xxx

Great vlog! And yeah, Schnitzel is supposed to be veal, the proper Viennese Schnitzel has to be veal... but you should be able to find pork options, too.

You usually see large crowds with sun umbrellas in Asia or Africa. I try to be less self conscious by imagining I am walking in that kind of group, though in fast paced (really unrelaxed). . . Winston Salem NC in southeast USA. My mood is 300 x's better with a sun shade. Love Austria as plan to move there and probably related to lots of people with surname, Pichler (means hill) in Wien. Glad you liked the country, has a lot of Celtic history blended in, plus Southern Slavic, and Eastern Europe too. You may like visiting clear blue green lakes near Klagenfurt.

My sister and brother in law met playing quidditch and still play. They're competing in the international Cup soon too!! I'd totally recommend checking it out. London has at least one team and I am sure anyone can go to their practices. It's great fun to watch, completely baffling and hilarious to begin with but a pretty exciting and fun sport to watch! 😊

Hi, a friend of mine lives in the Hundertwasserhaus. There are normal flats in it, but you have differend kinds of windows (no window looks like the other) an special room shapes. A really nice place to live. Cosy atmosphere
I feel like I visited another Vienna :D I was there just before christmas last year and it didn't really convince me. Guess I have to give it another go when it's sunny

It's so interesting to see the city I live in through your eyes! I moved here 10 years ago, and even though I know it is so pretty and clean, I often don't see its beauty anymore, so this was super fun. Also, Kolar is one of my favorite spots in Vienna, it's so yummy! So glad you both had such a fun time :)
I use the Glossier bag as my travel makeup pouch also! I’ve just had a worst trip of my life stranded at the airport for 27 hrs but this vlog has made me want to go on holiday again 😂
BRB is such an awesome idea, wish we could do something like that in Australia, but definitely too far from Europe for a weekend getaway 😉
