You can do different concepts but keeping to a consistent sound. For example, their entire predebut project and debut had many different concepts and genres yet the music was the Loona sound (aka music only they could do) whilst I felt like I could see a group like Itzy perform So What and Why Not.

I can't believe some people think Loona only has one style or sound type. In every comeback they show us many different concepts, and they always manage to impress me. Loona is a group of diversity in all senses
They worked with the same music producing company until butterfly. Because of that, even when they do completely different music genres, certain elements like spacey bass and hollow tones always carried over. People are allowed to miss those elements in the newer music 🤷🏾♂️
Ugh I hate when ppl say they lost their loona sound because what is the "loona sound"? They have so many sounds and songs, there isn't just one loona sound🙄

Other choruses and instrumentals are also have that unique feeling. I'm a huge pre-debut stan but I think "Why Not?" is their best era. It's soo unique that I can't consider any other Kpop concept within it.
