I pre-ordered two of these from Tropicfeel for my wife and I when we travel. We really wanted to love these backpacks but in the end we were not satisfied and had to return them. There are some great features, however for a backpack that can accommodate up to 66L the main straps are not nearly as adequate as needed. The main component of a backpack are it's shoulder straps and Tropicfeel could have done a lot better here with the Shelter to provide some more padding and comfort.
Great video! Just ordered mine today. And also. Hey, you actually should be able to remove the lower sternum straps. It’s a Velcro piece that connects hidden inside a slot, and you should be able to un Velcro and pull it out. Also, the whistle should be able to fold out a bit and then you should be able to blow on it lol
Thanks for the tip on the whistle! like I said, probably operator error. LOL. yes, I should have pointed that out about the hip belt! hope you enjoy the pack.
Hey, thanks so much for the review - there are very few of this backpack yet! I've just bought the backpack and the laundry bag in their BF sale, but I'm still unsure whether I should keep it, as so many people keep on saying that the straps are really uncomfortable after some time. Have you by any chance already taken it for a trip by now? And if so, what did you think of it during this trip? I'm planning my longest backpack trip yet for next summer, it'll be about 4 weeks, and I really want to have a practical backpack. My shelter bag makes a good impression at first glance, but it IS still pretty expensive, so I'd like to hear what other people thought of it after taking it for a trip.
Hiii amazing review, really specific for what i need! But i was wondering, at minute 6:24 what were the dimension of the backpack in that exact moment? Because it's exactly how i will travel 🤣😊
It was the TSA size within a quarter of an inch, which since it's a soft bag I could squish it if I had to. I didn't have any issues on USA and international flights but did check it on a small airline in Europe. I did another review after using it on a two week trip. Happy travels.
Hi! 😊 Nice video 😊 Sorry to bother you. I wanted to buy this backpack too but I’ve read lots of complaints about the shoulder straps and now I really don’t know if it’s worth it.. is it really so much uncomfortable to wear? Someone even wrote something about shoulder bruises..
No bother. They could be more padded, but they are not bad. I was a little disappointed when I first saw them, but had the pack loaded and on while I was filming and thought they were comfortable. You have to adjust it to fit and use the hip belt to take the weight off your shoulders. That’s why I was happy it had one. They do have a 30 day return which I think I saw was $8 US?

I agree! The straps are pretty sad for an expensive bag, but I love the Expanding feature. Hope you find what you’re looking for.
Did you find a suitable alternative?

Thank you very much! Really appreciated 💪
@@AdventureMusehey! Did you use the rain cover from the backpack itself to check it in for the flight? Did it work without problems?
I want that but with wheels also. Travel bag that size should have wheels. It’s only sometimes you need to carry it on your back.
Did you end up buying the dry day pack? I’m considering purchasing
No, I never did.
SUPER 🙂🙂
Thanks, you’ve motivated me to take my drone

@@AdventureMuse Thank you 😊
Anytime. I keep looking at other packs, but I keep this one. It’s expensive, but so many of them are.
