I am a home health nurse and I love seeing good families take care of their elderly family members. I am your biggest fan that is a bigger fan now! I promote your channel to my patients all the time. Keep up the good work and if you ever do a personal appearance, I will be there. I am in the Houston area too.

Thank you for your kind words. 🙏🏼 My mother was a home health CNA for many years. She's retired now. My family & I all collectively help my grandparents so they can be home. 😊 I wish you all the best & Happy holidays! 🙏🏼
I've come to realize the only thing I really like so much, crave, couldn't ever get enough of and I want to eat every day & couldn't ever get bored of is MEXICAN FOOD🇲🇽
I use a fish spatula to lift my corn tortillas now, it's soooooo much easier than fighting it with the wooden ones. 👍🏻 Great series! I love that it's a long video. ❤
I just found your channel last month and love how real and genuine you are. Thank you for all you do and I am loving trying new things from you! I wanted to ask you if you would consider doing a video for a Chicken Tikka Masala recipe and Chicken Biryani. That is, if you enjoy those foods. I can't seem to get the recipes right and I have tried many. Either way much love and I look forward to watching and cooking alongside your videos again soon! Thank you!
This is such an awesome video. This reminds me of my grandmother who raised me since the age of 5. But lost her by age of 12. My only person in the world who loved me unconditionally 😂😂. Really envy you and god boss. Still enjoy ur videos. 🙏🙏😊
I love your grandmother's pots and pans. I thrift old pots pans and utensils. The old ones make the food tase the best, especially cast iron. She must be so proud of her legacy.
You are awesome! I love the authenticity of your recipes and how they are not americanized. Food network is missing out on a beautiful soul that knows how to cook! Bravo 🙌
Sat down for a cuppa tea this morning and turned on RUclips and came across one of your videos and I loved it! So I subscribed and went to your channel and I have been watching your videos for the 2 last hours!🤣. You’re so down to earth I feel like I could be sitting in your kitchen with you talking, explaining how to do this! I’m a single older person who loves to cook and loves good food! But first of all that’s lovely that you take care of your older family! That’s not as common as it should be! My all-time favorite Mexican food is chiles rellenos! I haven’t made them in a while, but after watching this when I go to the store, I definitely will get the poblano peppers to make this again! And I make taquitos all the time, but I have never made potato ones! One thing I do every time I cook if I can, which is great for single people. As I always make extra and freeze it if they’re freezable this way, I have a quick meal down the road I don’t feel like cooking! I know the potato taquitos should freeze. OK I’m not sure about the chiles rellenos, I’ll try one and see!
❤ your abuelita ! I still miss mine to this day. Didn't know you had a cookbook, i bought it right away as i reference your vids on the regular! Mucho amor!
have someone I still consider a friend in my heart, her name is Valerie, who loves cooking and Mexican food, per her heritage and just because. As do I. I hope one day, to share this love of Mexican food with her and cooking again. And I hope she is receptive to my approach. Which will be probably many years from now. Thanks for this. Cooking rocks.
I used to love cooking for my grandma. I always told her, you used to cook for me when I was younger now I will cook for you. Although im sure her food tasted a lot better, lol!
I used to eat at a chain called Panchos. We loved it. My favorite item was the Chile Rellanos. If you know how they made them, would you do a video on it? Also the soapapillsas! Please? Love your videos and that you help your abuelita! God bless you and your family.
Lady I’m in Love with your cooking! I commute 3 1/2 - 4 hours to & from to work; & I’ve been binge listening to your videos. I appreciate the simplification of many of the recipes I love, since as a nurse I have a 15+ hr day. I’m making your Lazy Potato Flautas tonight! P.S. I’d love to see your spin on, Red Salsa/Consomme plz.
Everything you have cooked, I want!! My mother-in-law would make her version of the bread pudding. And use pine nuts. And make a caramel syrup. So so good
I absolutely love watching you cook and I have made several of your recipes. My family loves when I am cooking one of your recipes. Where do you get tomatillos in the winter?
Was craving chilliqules the other day had no corn tortillas didn't feel like going to the store, I did however have a bag of tortilla chips so i said why not, they came out soooooo good.
I was going to say, I have never had luxurious chunks of potato like that in my picadillo, where is THIS variation from 😂 Delicious, thank you. Last time I made picadillo it was Cuban style, been too long since I made it any style.
On ur flautas and potato tequitos do u ever add diced onion or jalapeño in them? Everything looks so amazing! I never knew the flour or cornstarch paste trick on keeping ur flautas rolled. Thk u so much for sharing ❤
this is so kool im from NZ im more interested in traitional cooking why i looked at this site - culturally we know our food betterthan anyone - love this
That looks delicious! Old pots and pans are well seasoned... they're the best! 😁 Chili Rellenos are my all time FAVORITE! How do I char the peppers since I don't have a gas stove?
This makes me so home sick. I'm Hispanic by blood but not so much culturally. However the area I grew up in had great Mexican food. I want to go home so bad. Everything looks so amazing.
I have never cooked anything except southern style food but really like trying different foods as long as not spicy. I want to make the first dish. Is is called Pico?
What brand of Chicken Bouillon powder do you use? That seems like a large canister. I am just starting to use Chicken Bouillon a lot but what is the best?
The picadillo is tonight. I have a question Angelica. I your book you have a recipe for easy chorizo and i step 2 it says add water and puree but im not seeing how much water. Please help cuz i need this for Christmas breakfast!!!
A girl I worked with 15yrs ago would make a CHEATER version on mornings when she didn’t have homemade leftovers. Do you have a cheater version w chips & el pato sauce? They were decent. 😊

If you use a ladle to push your sauce through the strainer, it is ten times faster and you get all the sauce.
Muchas gracias por compartir tus recetas 👍, bendiciones y Feliz Navidad 🎄🎄🙏🏼🙏🏼
