Spider-Man 2 for the PlayStation 5 is one of the most highly anticipated sequels in the gaming world. This is still the definitive Spider-man suit for me.
I wish they would just fix the webbing shrink it a bit and make it less shiny. They updated the TASM 2 suit really quick.
Exactly. The fact that insomniac doesn't want to make that adjustment is bothersome. It would greatly improve the suit. Just reduce the thickness of the webs, make them way less shiny, give the webs a black outline, sharpen the back symbol, remove the chest pecs, & base the blue off of Spider-Man 3. Since I now know insomniac won't be doing movie body builds for their live action suits in this game, the least they could do is implement these fixes. I would be happy with that.

They didn't update the TASM 2 it was just a placeholder suit, it was never going to look like that.
I like how it's actually the one from Spider-Man 3 this time.
Which is alot more detailed, more improved, more updated and more fixed than the one from Spider-Man 2 in the 2018 game.

I didn't think Insomniac would change the body type like the mods, but I did expect better webbing and colors. The webbing is still way to thick. @@NoName-ym5zj

I think they get the material wrong on this suit again. The web on the Raimi suit is like plastic/silk or cloth material, so they are not that reflective. However in both game, the webbed on the suit is treated as if it was metalic material which makes it so shiny in certain lighting and pops out so much.
Raimi suit in first movie had shiny webbing. Webbing in first movie was supposed to be black but IT reflected so much light it appears silver.

So they SLIGHTLY improved the standard Raimi suit, but still kept the things that keep this suit from being 100% movie accurate. Webbing is still thick & shiny, still no black outline on the webs, head shape is wrong & the back spider still isn't sharp enough.

Technically in the Sam Raimi trilogy in Spider-Man 2 and 3 were shiny webbing and thick so it is movie accurate bro

@@mohammedalkhatib418 You're thinking of Spider-Man 2002. Where in that movie, the webbing was slightly thick & shiny, but not nearly as much as the Insomniac Games would have you believe. In the later 2 movies, they got thinner & less shiny. And the webbing on the suit got a black outline.
The lighting feels exactly like the Xbox 360 version of Spider-Man 3 and I LOVE IT! Spider-Man 3 was my first Spidey game, well the PS2 version that is, and I had fun playing it back in the day. Well 3 and Friend or Foe were both my first Spidey games technically

I just got my copy of the game and its literally one of the best games I've ever played, its up there with GOWR in terms of gameplay. I love the web wings some much.

To me, it looks like they are trying to capture the suit from the Spider-Man 3 video game, not the movie. It looks more accurate to the game with the over exaggerated webbing and colors.

No, we weren't. Suit was unfinished and buggy all over it, and a downgrade from the first game. I've been saying it since launch. Now it is fixed.

The web swinging sucks in this game it feels like theres no gravity 1 swing and you are floating and now you can fly too they killed spiderman

@@tanjiro478 go into settings and turn down swing asist to 0, it makes it so you can hit the ground while swinging, you can also turn on fall damage to make messing up have an impact

@@tanjiro478 press the left stick to fall fast, this is relaistic gravity. It takes less than 8 seconds to fully hit the ground normally after jumping off avengers towers
