Would you be open to doing a handwriting video of the entire alphabets of the lettering you used? Sometimes it's hard to visualize how to draw a letter using the different variations of lettering. I love this video!!!
Thank you for this, it's a great place to start on the journey to more attractive writing. You mentioned borders, how do you decide which border fits with each writing style?
That was wonderful. I would like to to know a bit about the way or proper techniques to hold the writing instrument to facilitate legibility. I have a horrendous penmanship. Thanks so much.
Thank you very much for this video. I found it very interresting and had a lot of fun to watch it. I'm impatient to try your tips for myself. Gaël from France
This is a great idea. You are very artistic naturally, where many of us have to pry that door open. As I watch you put random letter styles together you are giving me freedom to open my creative door further. I am practicing and it feels more natural. I think when you decide on a design it looks pleasing to the eye. Mine, eh not so much. I have to find my design that really does look nice. So I am looking for ideas from you. You may think its redundant because you do it all the time, it is not that way for those of us learning from you. Thanks for taking the time to show us your art!
Thank you for making this video! I love it! i've been trying to imitate the way you decorate your planner but never succeeded.. lol. this video REALLY helps! Thanks again!! :D
I also say this... your video here would fit very very well into an elementary writing module. It would make an excellent "reward" type of lesson after all basic letter shapes have been mastered, or better-yet as an extension and in later grades; 3 thru 6. It would make an excellent cross-curricular addition between writing and art, and might add endless choices for students to be creative in their layout, design, and graphic appeal of virtually any and All projects.
What a great video! I love your handwriting. :) You could maybe do a favorite pens to use video? I feel like my handwriting is different depending on which pen I use, but maybe it's just me lol.
i would say to find alphabets that you like online that have stroke orders on them, find an instructional book you like, or find some handwriting videos that demonstrate how to form the letters.
It scares me that you use Frixion pens. I used them for a while in my Filofax and while out running errands one day, I left my Filofax in the car. The heat erased quite a bit of my writing. I put the pages in the freezer, but it still doesn't quite look the same. Your artwork is so beautiful, I would hate to see you lose it!
@missmerbella thanks for sharing. I had no idea. Just today I was telling my hubby that I'd hate to lose all my planner archives. using these erasable pens would spell disaster. I really appreciate you sharing this tip.
Thank you for this tutorial! It helped me a lot. however, can I make a suggestion? Try and cut out all the times where you're just thinking, that would make the videos much shorter. I did find myself skipping a few seconds throughout your videos all the time because sometimes you just say "uhm... so... I'm looking at my cheat sheet... okay, so could also..." That makes it seem unprofessional and gets more boring. But it was still very helpful, so thank you.

the lined paper behind (and re-enforcing the black on the lines) is brilliant! TY
I really did enjoy this video... One of my favorite in decorating my planner. Thanks so much!!
I really enjoyed your lesson on lettering. What are your favorite writing pens?
Leona Dooley i prefer the pentel energel in needle tip, but they don't sell them in stores anymore- you have to order them online.
Thank you for this, it's a great place to start on the journey to more attractive writing. You mentioned borders, how do you decide which border fits with each writing style?
thanks. i don't really match the borders to the handwriting, i decided which border to use based on the size of the area i'm working with.
Thanks :)
