TAKE ME TO YOUR GEN'RUL - Snuffy is drafted. But he's the wrong Smith. He goes through fire and brimstone to reach the commanding General to explain the mistake.
THE HAT - Snuffy is tricked into becoming an accomplice in a bank robbery. The only clue is a photograph of Snuffy's hat.
THE METHOD AND MAW - Actress Beulah Bangfoot wants to use Loweezy as a model for her next play. She copies Maw so closely that Snuffy can't tell them apart.

The 3 Paramount Animation Studios “Comic King” cartoons featuring Snuffy Smith & Barney Google in this video are: “Take Me To Your Gen’rul” @ 0:01, “The Hat” @ 5:57 & “The Method & Maw” @ 14:04.
All 3 shorts was given a theatrical release via Paramount's Comic King series of shorts.
Believe me THE HAT is both hilarious and exciting for a Snuffy Smith cartoon. It's one of my favorites and I remember it very well. The scenes in which Snuffy and Loweezey hear Barney Google's cries for help while on board a gangster ship is dowright action packed.

I seem to recall a newspaper comic strip that 🤔 had these characters 😳 in it ! Maybe I'm wrong?
It was in the funny papers for years. A personal favorite.

I love that “eat those words” gag, that really funny every time I watch those cartoons @ 2:22-2:40.

These appear to be out of order "The Method and the Maw", have Barney, Snuffy, and Louise stuck in the big city. At the end of "The Hat", they are able to return home. When I was a child, Barney Google very rarely appearedn in the strip, which I followed in the Los Angeles "Herald Examiner" in the 1960s and 1970s.
